Works well for me
I have a Senix chainsaw, battery and charger already and was pleased with them so I bought this. I use it to clear invasive vines off of fences and it works well. Also good for cleaning out invasive saplings in hedge rows, I used to climb into hedges and chainsaw them out, with this I can do it without having to crawl around as much. Personally, I would probably limit my use up to about 3 or 4 inches in diameter of cuts, anything larger and I'd probably want to use a gas chainsaw. Pleasantly surprised with how long the battery life in uses is. The bar and chain are Oregon products so they are quality and I am assured of future replaceability as the are not proprietary to the tool. It suits my uses for it quite well, it is a light to medium duty tool. It appears well put together and as I take care of my tools I feel it will be durable enough for my intended uses.

Senix
I bought this Senix CSPX5-m I was careful when I bought it the article said with battery I got it and no battery an chain and no bar everything is separate and the dam battery is almost $300 that’s twice as much as the pole saw itself . So you guest it this will be going back I should have stuck with gas well I have to recap a little I went to senix’s home page to possibly buy battery and charger. So after I added the battery and charger I noticed I was given the option for a free battery which makes up for. All this so as soo as i get battery I’ll review on proformance

Great pole saw and easy to use.
I purchased the Senix pole saw to trim some trees on my property. I’m very happy with my purchase. The saw was shipped quickly and packaged securely. It was simple to put the Oregon chain on and tighten; no additional tools needed. You will need to purchase chain oil as it does not come with it. When not in use, it comes with a guide bar plastic sleeve. The Senix pole saw has plenty of power for a battery saw and runs smooth and quiet. It was easy to adjust the length. I was cutting up to 8” diameter tree limbs with no problem. I would try out other Senix products in the future.

Difficult to balance
This saw is well made, but is difficult to use, because all the weight is on one end and the power switch is on the other end. Even without extending the saw, the saw is difficult to control because so much weight is on the end of a long pole. When holding the saw closer to the balancing point, I can't reach the power switch at the other end. The saw would be easy to operate by two persons. The instruction manual does not say anything about how to deal with the balancing problem.

Problem with product
The battery holder on my CSPX5 pole saw got broken and I contacted customer service and in less than 24 hours they responded asking for photos of broken part. After sending photos they asked for name, address and phone number and the same day they responded by sending me a new SENIX pole saw at no cost. UNBELIEVABLE! I assumed there would have been hoops to jump through and multiple emails and then probably not have gotten a replacement without some cost. None of that. I just can't say enough for SENIX and Bob Moehle, Services Manager. Again, thanks Bob Moehle

Takes some getting used to
I have used many chainsaws over the years. This one is quiet with great battery life. The chain dulls reasonably quickly, but it is only 10" which is for yard maintenance, not a lumberjack, if you want a long lasting chain, get a 24" bar type unit. It gets heavy after a while, but it is 14 feet long! That's a lot of leverage. I bought 2 units and their customer service took care of my issues quickly and without complaint. The main thing to upgrade is the clip for the harness, just get a inexpensive carabiner and you're good to go.
