Bought to use with coals for my smoker bbq. Good value and good quality bucket

I use the bucket for fire ash- allowing the ash to cool down before disposing. An optional extra lid would be really useful to keep any rain out!

This bucket seemed great on first inspection. It was meant as a water bucket as my dogs keep chewing plastic ones. The first night however it leaked half a bucket of water so I had to return.

If you're like me and want to remove the label then be prepared it won't take 2 seconds as it would if they stepped into the 21st Century and used easy-peel labels but no they use labels with a glue that could hold a man to a ceiling. First, you have to run it under the hot tap after you try to remove the plastic covering then rub it with a bit of Scotchbrite then over to surgical spirit or meths to dissolve the glue. All in all, it took me about 15 minutes, all for a bucket that most likely won't last very long.
