The lid feels pretty solid and drop resistant. I flicked through about 20 listings and they all seemed to have fragile looking crystal plastic lids with lots of complaints about them breaking very quickly. I'm not sure what plastic was used for the lid but it feels good.They don't claim it's leak resistant when open, but if you only have the straw hole open with a straw inside, the silicone flaps seem to stop most of the leaking as long as you pick it up quickly. I knocked it over on the couch expecting a big spillage but it was only a couple of drops. I'm terrible for knocking cups over so this was good.My girlfriend has a branded Stanley cup and this feels just as good and not like most of the cheap ones you'll find on here.It says you're not supposed to put hot drinks in so I haven't. It also says no carbonated drinks. I put mountain dew and vodka in and nothing bad happened.Well worth buying a silicone ice mold for this. I did and it kept a drink cold for over a day. I finished it and the next day there was still ice inside.Quality product overall and I'm glad I shopped around. It's fantastic for a very good price.I got the white model and it looks pretty nice. A small embossed brand logo in chrome but it's not intrusive.

I like the cup:- It was important to me that it is leakproof. I going to take it on a flight because I get very dehydrated.- The handle is chunky and nice to hold, a lot of these cups have very thin handles for the size.- It does keep drinks cold for a whole 24 hours, it won't keep ice frozen though.- It's very easy to clean with the large internal size- it doesn't smell of plastic like my Luxe Contigo cup, maybe because I haven't put hot liquid in it, as per the instructions.Things worth knowing:- I didn't like the plastic straw. I don't like drinking out of plastic and it felt cheap. I swapped it for a 1cm diameter, 31cm long glass Stanley compatible straw.At this diameter you can use a bent straw.I originally got some 0.7cm diameter straws because the hole looked smaller, but they wouldn't stay in position. They hit the bottom of the cup making it impossible to drink out of without pulling the straw upwards each time to drink.- I prefer drinking from the cup with the flaps pointing horizontally at the handle, rather than pointing directly at my face. It's difficult to get the lid screwed on in that orientation. Sometimes I don't close it all the way, it still seems to work fine like that. I just wouldn't want to carry it full in a bag like that.- the liquid makes a blooping sound when I stop drinking with a straw because there's no air vent hole. You can open the drinking spout flap if that bothers you.- Dropping a couple of strawberries in it makes really nice infused water, if you get bored of water. It cleans up well and doesn't smell so far.

Brilliant tumbler for cold drinks (not tried hot). It keeps them cold and fresh overnight - I use this to have by my bedside as well as out and about and iced drinks still have ice in when I wake up.I know it says not to be used for carbonated/fizzy drinks, but, I've used it for this and not had any issues, and it means I can have a variety of drinks instead of just one.I think, my ONLY gripe is that this doesn't fit into the cup holders in my car - it fits in the door, but I think the cup holders I have might be slightly smaller than regular ones - (Skoda Kodiaq - central console). You may find yours are fine - but that still doesn;t stop me recommending this and I think it's brilliant. It's also very sturdy and has survived knocks etc

It holds a lot of water which is great but sadly doesn’t fit in the cup holder of my car. The lid appears leakproof but if you have the straw in it’s obviously not. Would have been great to have a way to attach the straw so that you can close the straw lid for travelling. Also I find the lid can be quite tricky to unscrew with small hands.

So happy with this product. The cup is so much bigger than I expected!! Bright and beautiful colour that is especially beautiful in these dark winter months. The cup is so easy to golf, keeps you hydrated all day as it’s so big and is very easy to clean. The cup is great quality and great value for money. It comes with a straw and a sip lid so great for hot and cold drinks. I haven’t had any leaks so I’m very happy.
