I need to protect my head and my whole face. This wide and long visor does the trick and the light weight nylon covering the front of my head also offers great sun protection without making my head hot. I also the love the visor extension pieces to offer even more coverage. Large opening allows for ponytails, messy buns or rolls etc. It's a great hat!!

Edited update- this has been pretty sturdy and quick dry light hat. Initially I wasn’t happy with the quality but after so kuch use it’s still as good and hasn’t lost shape or color in harsh sun.5 stars for this hat at this price point!!It’s ok. Viser is broad enough so it does give better sun protection than a regular sun hat but the material looks cheap. Serves its purpose and is ok for the price point.

Pros: really great at blocking sun, I like that you can pull one visor side out at a time. Been using for over a month for my runs & I love it.Cons: not very tight, almost loose. I used to wear a regular hat and pull my hair through the back but you can’t do that w this hat. Needs to be in an elastic. The band of the hat also isn’t that tight & I got a big head tbh. Because of the amount of blockage it can be hard to see around you so you gotta move the hat for a second to look side to side for oncoming cars.The pros outweigh the cons imo.

I love this hat. I use it while I deliver mail. It keeps the sun off my face but the opening in the back keeps my head cool. I love the option of making the visor wider also. I got the grey/beige color and it matches everything. The hat is super comfortable and folds easily to fit in small spaces. It fit great on my head so it doesn't fall of but it's too tight.

Color is good, just like image. The brim came flat and no folded or warped. The only thing is the inside is cheaply stitched so there are loose threads everywhere. The two expandable visors are held together in the center so they will not fall out when expanded.

This visor is extra wide and long. I use it to protect me from UV. It works great. It has adjustable sides that give you shading when the sun is low in the sky. The tie back design is cute and feminine. I use this when I am hiking. It doesn't interfere with my view of nature.
