This is the driest "wet food" I have ever seen. It's supposed to be good for cats with kidney and urinary tract issues my cat will not eat it...way to dry and crumbly. And...it's ineligible for returns.. :P

Cost, but it has what our cat needs for her bladder health.

The ingredients would seem to entice a cat to eat it and it smells delicious, but mine just won't. It had sort of a "cakey" texture without any gravy or extra broth. I think that's why my cat won't eat it.

The five cats all like it, but it is a bit drier than I would expect. The ingredients seem good quality. I bought it primarily for my four cats who are on a regular diet since the fifth cat is on a prescription diet and I worry about him getting into their food, even though I take steps at meal time to prevent that. This food seems fine for my healthy four who aren't on special diets, but I won't panic if my other cat sneaks a bite or two. I still feed the four regular canned food most of the time, but I give them this on occasion.

Says in a sauce/gravy but it is do dry you have to smash it with a fork. My 3 cats refuse to eat it, several cans came dented as usual gor Amazon , hard to open. One of his other brands the same as above but thought I would give this flavor a try. Returning. Update: non returnable. Last time getting burned by Dave. Just how old are these cans to be dried up? Dave? Couldnt find a exp date on cans. Never again. Tried 3 products 3 cats wouldn’t eat at all. Never has he offered before posts to refund his expense horrible cat food.

... BEFORE you add the water to make it workable.It may well do the job it advertises, I don't know. But it is the most unpleasant food experience I've ever had to deal with.Every time this comes up in my cat's rotation it sets my cat and I at loggerheads. He isn't a picky cat. I've just never tolerated a picky cat. My cats have always been fed food that I deem healthful and nutritious.Until this food I've never had a cat defecate on the food. I've never had a cat give me a Puma scream when he sees me reaching for it. I've never had a cat go outside, catch a squirrel, bring it in and fling it in my face, yowling, "THAT'S proper food, Hussy!"I'm stubborn and creative. That's how I've managed to get through 6 cans of this case. That's how I'll manage to get through the rest of it... eventually.But I'll never buy it again. I'll keep looking for a low magnesium, low phosphorus can. But my boy is quite clearly telling me one of us will die before he has to eat this for the rest of his life. I'm not convinced that I won't be the one unalived.

I needed some good food for my cats urinary tract issues and he seems to really enjoy it. Hopefully it’ll do what it needs to do and keep those crystals from growing.

Such a bummer, this food is not sold in any other quantities than a case. We've gone through 3 cans of this food and my cat won't eat it. Most of the food has gone in the trash. It is a very solid, hard pate of food. I have mashed it up, that doesn't help. I have warmed it up slightly to make it more appetizing, that doesn't help. I mash cat treats into this food, it forces my cat to work for the treats, but this pate remains and gets thrown away....so disappointing.
