Read this before you buy
So I just wanted to get a good cup of coffee every morning and I was out searching for a drip machine. It so happened that I went into a rabbit hole and ended up wanting a proper espresso machine. Now if you’re just looking for a coffee machine that you press a button on and get good coffee, this isn’t your one.I highly recommend going to YouTube, typing ‘James Hoffman espresso’ and understanding what you’re signing up for completely before you put in the money. As for the product itself, it’s great and has a massive online community that can help you get the best out of this machine. A month of reading and here’s what I found out is key to make the optimal use of a gcp.1. Please, please, please, get a 9 bar mod spring set from ShadesOfCoffee. Espresso is brewed at 9 bar pressure and this machine operates at 12-15. So you’ll never pull a perfect shot with default settings. (It’s an international website so make sure you calculate the 28 percent CGST you have to pay).2. Get a good grinder. I’m not talking mixy. I’m talking a burr grinder (chakki type). If your grinder is bad you’ll not get good espresso even out of a 3 lakh espresso machine. I suggest looking up the ‘baratza esp’ on bluetokai for espresso. (Approx 20k)3. Get an open Portafiler and if you have the budget please spend some money on a wdt tool and a good tamper (approx 7k for both).4. Buy 4000 kilos patience because the espresso you see in my photo took a week to not taste sour bitter. It took a week of dailing in (Google this term) to reach the a well balanced espresso. So basically even though the machine says 39k or something, you’ll have to spend an additional 30k to make the best use of it. And if you can’t, I suggest you wait and save up till you can and buy the whole set up. If not you’ll just be pissed at spending 40k for sour tasting shots. And if after everything I’ve said you want to jump into the espresso journey, welcome to the madhouse comrade! Please look up the GaggiaClassicPro community on Reddit to help you surf the wave. All the best!

The best entry level single boiler espresso machine out there
Writing this review after almost 1 year of daily usage . Espresso is not an easy or inexpensive hobby , but one which pays off well if you invest some upfront money in buying a decent grinder and espresso machine . If buying a grinder is not in budget , better to keep making moka than espresso.Pre-requisites to making best use of the machine- Need to buy 9 Bar springs ( shades of grey UK website).- Need a proper coffee grinder which can make consistent grinds ( manual or electric).- Need some practice in puck preparation to avoid channelling. If you have done some or all of the above , then this tank like espresso machine can make great coffee every single time. It is built with some solid steel and sturdy components .Cons- PID temperature control is not there , so consistency is difficult without practice.- Steam wand gets leaky after extensive usage .- Single boiler for both espresso and steam . Needs time for steam after espresso prep.

Best starter 3 way solenoid coffee machine.
The machine was delivered in good packaging and over all good condition. However, I found a few issues with the portafilter. It lacked over all finishing and had scratches. So just disappointed about that. So deducted 1 star for that.Other than that amazing coffee machine.

Built like a tank
If you are angry at someone and want to hurt them, throw this at them. Or else if you want to brew coffee it’s a great machine. It’s all manual though and you need to learn how to use it with a few tweaks suggested online. The milk steamer is not bad but not the best. But at this price it is probably the best. If you can’t make it work may compromise and buy a dedicated milk frother/warmer. The portafilter holds heat which is a good thing. Drain is very easy to clean.

Very disappointing. Not easy to use and expensive utilisation. Cheaper better options available.
I bought this machine after my small Delonghi broke down. And I am very disappointed. First of all the machine is not very to use. Secondly you have to us a LOT of coffee to make one espresso that tastes good because the cream filter is so huge... Compared to my previous Delonghi I have to use twice as much coffee (which in the long costs a lot of money) to produce the same amount of coffee. I also noticed that the temperature of the coffee is too low. Overall a hugh disappointment and I regret my purchase. I would definitely buy Delonghi again.

The best home espresso machine out there.
I was quite tempted to go for the Rancillio silvia, but this was almost 15K cheaper and provides a professional steam wand, a standard filter basket and portafilter so you can swap it for a better one later, and a 3 way solenoid valve, so backflushing is a breeze and no mucky baskets after pulling your shot. A piece of advice though, this is a machine and not an appliance. You will need skill to get micro foaming when steaming your milk and will need to dial in your espresso shots by adjusting grind size to get the perfect crema.
