Handsome watch!!
Bought for my 26yr old son who love to wear a watch only when he is dressed for meeting, formal events. He does not like smart watches or bulky watches as he doesn’t like jewelry. He loved this. So nice and great price.

Look twice to read the time correctly!
I like the appearance of the watch overall - a dark blue face against a slim black case and mesh metal band. It keeps accurate time. That said I can easily misread the time because the minute hand is hard to see right away as the second hand is so prominent. So I have to look at it twice to make sure the hand I am looking at is moving or not! I see that others have commented on this as well.I was also surprised that the watch came without any documentation or warranty information. I emailed Bering customer service and they told me that in case it needed service/warranty work to simply send a copy of the invoice from Amazon and that I did not need to register the warranty with them.

Beautiful blue face and the strap is an extremely lightweight ...
The watch oozes quality and style. Arrived in Gold Coast Australia ticking and running true time. Beautiful blue face and the strap is an extremely lightweight fine mesh Not 100% on the clasp though. Has an easy double clip function, but it just as easily self-unclipped twice without warning before i worked out this occurs if the strap has any slack, even slight, which allows the strap to move back against the clips and pop them open. My solution is to have the strap as tight as possible but still comfortable without any slack. It's easy to adjust the clipped into part (the female part) to achieve this. Then move the rubber 'sleeve' to press neatly up to the latch. Early days yet but this appears to work at keeping the latching secure. Shouldn't have to do this fiddly stuff and reckon Bering need to re-invent this clasp or have an alternative fitted. Despite this can't do less than 5 stars. Classy unit that looks the goods.

Stylish watch, accurate time, solar with minor caveat.
This is a stylish watch. I have owned it for over two years. It looks great. Keeps accurate time. Never needs a battery.I have read other reviews about the clasp. Although the latching procedure is not intuitive, once you learn it, you never have any problems. The watch has never fallen off my wrist. Also the black wristband is holding up fine, not losing any of the black. I am fairly rough on a watch and have had no issues with the band. The only complaint is as people say the minute hand is narrow and has a very narrow limited luminescent area. The second hand is completely luminescent. So although the hour had is immediately identifiable, the second hand is more visible than the minute hand. So in limited lighting you may have to look at the watch carefully to tell what time it is. This can be annoying, but I still am very happy with the watch.

Gorgeous Watch. Terrible Band.
Beautiful. Comfortable. Well made, except for the band. Instructions are so small difficult to determine exactly HOW to adjust the band. Once adjusted, the clasp wouldn't stay closed. USELESS. RETURNED.

Good loking, not so great building
Liked the feel in the wrist a lot but the strap gave me the sensation of poorly build. It's kind of twisted and it's already breaking where its attached to the watch itself. But love the size, look and feel.

Another $160.00 down the drain!
I have to admit, I liked the way this watch looked in the photographs. But, as many of the reviews have pointed out, the minute hand is next to imperceptible. I got this watch last Thanksgiving and wore it one time. For some reason I didn't like it very much -- I think it had something to do with the difficulty I encountered making the clasp lock. Anyway, I put it away for three months and tried to wear it again last night, thinking that a little practice was all I needed to get used to it. After an hour of fiddling with it I was no better off than the first time I tried it. So I tossed it on the carpeted floor in my bedroom and picked it up again in the morning to give it another try. The toss to the carpeted floor was enough to tear the mesh band, right where it attaches to the frame of the watch. As others have pointed out, this watch does not accept any of the conventional bands. and a replacement would cost about $80.00. That does not include the cost of shipping it back to the manufacturer, waiting for it, etc. The clasp had already been ruined just trying to put it on. Any pressure at all is enough to bend it out of shape, rendering it completely useless and unfixable. The mesh band is so cheap it tears like a threadbare bed sheet. I tore the band off the watch with about as much force as you would use to tear a piece of masking tape from its roll. My next step was to take the watch out in my garage, place it gently on the cement floor, and give it one good whack with a ten pound sledge hammer. The reason I gave this a 5 star rating is because most people who have already zeroed in on a product neglect to read the one star reviews. I wore this watch one time only and now it is in the trash. This is the absolute truth. You would not buy a pair of hiking shoes made out of toilet paper. You should not buy a watch with a band made out of steel wool.
