Baja Precious - Rice Bran Oil, 1 Gallon

Love this stuff! Good for putting a crust on a steak at the end of cooking (after, say, a sous vide cook) without changing the flavor and the smoke point is very high.

I like that The oil has very little flavor so it combines with a lot of different Dishes. Also has a pretty high smoke point and it's great for massage because it absorbs so quickly

Good product for frying, low oder, high smoke point

This oil is excellent for deep frying and sautéing. Its flavor and aroma are very mild, so food cooked in it retains its flavor well. The deep fryer aroma that tends to permeate the kitchen and surrounding areas is less intense with this oil than with any other oil I've tried (including corn/soy, canola, and peanut). Its high smoke point makes it very versatile. It works well as a neutral filler oil—useful in cooking situations that call for adding some vegetable fat without disrupting the current flavors, or for diluting an oil whose flavor is too strong.I haven't used any other rice bran oils, so for now I have no basis for comparison to others of its type. Considering its utility and its pricing, I haven't encountered a reason to try another.
