Fast & Effective for BV
The Balance Activ BV Pessaries work really well and fast. They help relieve symptoms quickly, and I love that they work naturally without needing antibiotics. After just a couple of uses, everything feels balanced and back to normal.They’re easy to use, and there’s no strong smell or irritation. The only thing is they can be a bit messy, so wearing a liner overnight is a good idea.

Use with menstrual cup to keep it in all night, game changer!
Totally works! I would say for beginning of thrush as well.But it works the best at night and when you put a menstrual cup in, so all the goodness stays in all night, and empty the cup in the morning. Game changer!

Gave me thrush but worked for BV
I've suffered with what I think has been BV since as long as I can remember, I've never been to the Dr's about it I've always just got on with it. After research I tried these. Easy to use. After the 1st one, the next day I had no smell, and no discharge. I was honestly amazed! I haven't had dry knickers for absolute years (maybe 10-13 years)I normally go through knickers a few times a day or I wear a liner ALL the time, as for smell I've always thought I've had a smell alon side the discharge. On the 2nd day, again same as the 1st. Amazing! But on the 3rd and 4th day I'm 99% sure I now have a pretty nasty case of thrush (I've had thrush before so I remember the symptoms well), I'm really itchy, swollen, and the discharge is back along with a smell. I decided to stop taking them after the 4th day, I'm gonna wait till it clears up, and in a few weeks I'll just take 2 days worth again, as the 2 days worked amazingly. So for me, I wouldn't take 7 days worth, I will buy another pack and just take the odd 1 or 2, rather than a full course, whenever I'm a bit off again. So yeah, amazing stuff they do work. Maybe I just got thrush coincidentally whilst taking this course, it is possible. But I'm not chancing it again in future, just 1 or 2 will do me fine. P.S the pill is shaped like a bullet and it looks like its a soap kind of texture. The packaging the pill was in was difficult to remove without the pill flying out of it lol, so be careful on opening! Good luck those trying, I hope you get results and feel amazing!

An ok product.
Hard to open. Easy to insert.You will need to wear pants in bed with a thinish pant-liner. As soon as the pessary begins to melt from your body temperature, the oozing begins! Worked well. I won't use these again as the gel ones were much easy to open, easy to use with little if any need to wear pants & a liner.Cost effective. Did the job. No irritation at all. 3 days into the 7 day course it had already worked.

*EDIT* now finished the 7 day course and it's honestly worked a treat, i have no more symptoms of BV and i feel so much better after using this product - i would definitely recommend to anyone suffering!For anybody wondering about a burning sensation, it literally says on the leaflet that it may cause a burning stinging sensation but that it is only temporary and if that sensation happens it may be caused due to slight tears in the vaginal lining. So id suggest actually reading the leaflet and the warnings as you'll understand why you may be experiencing that type of sensation.So please read the leaflet before hand as this gives clear indication on any symptoms/warnings you may have whilst taking these!As for my personal experience, ive suffered on and off for years with BV and even with the drs prescribing antibiotics multiple times, that only seemed to stop the symptoms for a while only for them to return shortly after, so i figured I'd give these a go along on top of already taking probiotics. Its only my first night trying these out and although i have dealt with a slight burning sensation it only lasted a couple minutes so nothing major, it wasn't severe either and i expected to experience this due to the warning on the leaflet.I'll update if i can once I've finished the 7 day course and see how my symptoms are!

Work but God it hurts
These work, but I definitely do have issues with them causing burning when using. It was almost agonising one night. It's a shame because they're super effective too but the pain is just too much. It might be that I am sensitive, but yeah, do the job but burn so bad
