A door was cut to fit a room that was retiled, and at least a half inch gap existed between the floor and door. This product has effectively sealed that space, and, there is no more leaking of air conditioned air out of the space. Very effective, and easy to cut and install. Be careful when applying though! The adhesive is very effective, so lifting to replace will be challennging.

Got this draft blocker strip to replace the thin one that usually comes with budget doggie doors. It closes off the draft between the sliding door and stationary patio door. I was expecting it to be essentially another long, thin strip of plastic. When I opened it, I wasn’t sure it would work. But I installed it anyway, and am so glad I did! It forms a substantial air barricade that doesn’t, like the thin ones, flutter in a strong wind. It was remarkably easy to install, and it looks and works great. Although it isn’t my use, I’m sure it would be as good at the bottom of a door. I couldn’t be more pleased to see how well it works for my task!

I am happy I happened to scroll past this item somehow and said to myself hummmm I think I will give this a try. I rent a basement apt and always had an issue with the up stairs breeze from under the door making my space cold. I put this on my door and just as fast as I closed my door.... Poof problem solved ! Its clean and neat looking and easy to put on. just clean the door and peel and stick. Cut if necessary. Its always the little things right ? They should make a much thinner version for windows too just saying.

After 20 years, we needed to replace the original 41” white silicon strip that came with the door sweep (it finally began to tear). Because most manufacturers only sell the standard size (39”), it was tough to find a replacement– this was one of only 2 products that was long enough to fit. We chose this product as the other was considerably more expensive.This strip is as thick as the original MD Door product but costs a lot less! Although the adhesive appears to be strong, we chose to re-install the previous door sweep board over the self stick section to ensure that it stays in place. I’ll definitely purchase more as needed.

This product is better than the one I bought at the hardware store two years ago. This came rolled up but is pliable and heavy enough to lie flat. Cuts extremely easily, adhesion is fantastic (I cleaned the painted wooden door with alcohol first). I used the included tacks just at the corners as an extra assurance. We're using it for a gap along the vertical edge of an outside door (applied inside on the knob edge of door) where winter air pours in. Thick outer edge really seals well. Noticed the temperature difference instantly! Buying another to use for two door sweeps.

I didn’t like it that much, it didn’t do much.

I installed it on an interior bedroom door to reduce light in the room. It doesn't completely block the light but it reduces it a lot. It drags on the carpet but that doesn't bother me. Another thing I've noticed is the reduction in air movement means the HVAC is less effective in that room now. It's a compromise I can live with.
