Needs improvement
Produt bracket didn't fit properly into wooden rail. My handyman had to adjust and widen the two holes for accurate attachment. Also the bracket cap sticks out too much after install into rail. See photo in advertising. My concern is a person could scratch themselves against it. Product is very sturdy and looks nice

Great banister
I’m so glad I purchased this. We needed something for our basement with about 6 steps going down to it. It’s perfect and sturdy.

hardware needed repair
Product assembles with threaded pipe. One piece had threaded section 1/4" too long. Had to prevail on friend with rubber-jawed vise to cut off extra 1/4" with hacksaw and without deforming pipe.Once fixed, railing installed readily and looks rather nice. I'd call the look "semi-rustic".

These handrails were horrible!
Do not buy these handrails, they are a joke. They were so crudely made and ugly that I settled with the manufacturer (China, I know, I know) for a refund then took them to the dump. I was shocked that they were even offered for sale by Amazon. Lesson learned! I just don’t understand how other reviewers praised this product - I rely on reviews to make buying choices so needless to say the whole purchase experience was a disaster.
