Kapro 781-PM-24 Genesis Magnetic Box Level with Plumb Site, 24-Inch

Too bad I've lost the color in the vials. It's hard to see a clear bubble. Other than that, it's very good. I've used it on concrete jobs, framing, and hanging pictures. It's light weight and I like the concept of the metal frame, it's easy to keep clean. I think it's a good value for the money. I just discovered the other day that it has a "life time warranty". Think I'll call and see about the vials. I'll update if it works.

The level arrived rather scrstched up. Looks like the didn't package it well. They did discount the price for me. It does appear to be an accurate level.

Love this level, for what l ordered it for. It is light and slender. Very usable. I like the vials are right near the two ends.

Great level for the price . Simple straightforward design . Nice durable no need for many fancy cosmetics . Does the job well .

Good value and the plumb function is pretty neat

The Kapro 781-41P-24 Genesis Box Level with Plumb Site is one of the nicest box levels I have used. Having previously purchased cheaper plastic box levels or the discount, bargain store ones there are noticeable inferior in terms of design, durability and construction it's gives be a better appreciation for the Kapro brand. This Kapro 781-41P-24 model is solid, aluminum construction have rubberized ends and feet that do a admirable job of protecting the level as well as to prevent any marring on the surface that you are working on. The plumb sites are accurate that are easy to use especially the side view one. The built in magnets are a nice idea and have been beneficial for storage against metal surfaces. There's a lot to like about this product, but if there are any improvements I would suggest would be to the finish/paint. I would have like a more durable exterior that is more resistant to scratching. Perhaps some sort of protective top coat. Overall, this is a handy, well balanced level that should last a while. Highly recommend.

I got the 24" in this model. The first thing that struck me when I held it was how lightweight it was. I wondered what it was made of and if it was just a lot cheaper product than other levels I've used. I came and reread the product description and realize this is b design. It's made of aluminum so it will be strong and lightweight. When thinking about hanging items or doing flooring jobs around the house, having a lightweight level can certainly be an advantage. It seems to work very well and I could clearly see all three bubbles. If you are taking this around to jobs or even have it stuck in your tool backpack, the lightweight feature will make it much easier to carry with you. Mine arrived in perfect condition and I will update if it doesn't hold up.

This level comes out of the box sort of daring you to ignore it. From it's color, which is an easy to see reddish orange that has several areas for seeing the leveling bubbles. They added this thing called Plumb Site which allows you to see the leveling bubble through the side of the level so that you don't have to contort to look. There are two magnets if you need it to free your hands and also for storage. The ends have these soft rubber bumpers that just beg to be removed -- I mean they have a button on them that looks like a release button but nothing happens. It's a head scratcher but doesn't take away from that fact that I will use this level when I need one, that is if I can pry it out of my roomie's hands!
