I love silk and I buy a lot of it. This luxurious pillowcase is by far the best quality out of the many brands I have purchased. You can feel the thick texture and see a glittering sheen and also the color is gorgeous.*updateI bought another one in pink and unfortunately there was a little snag in it. I’m not sure what to do about that because I’m afraid it’s going to lead to a hole but hopefully it remains together. Besides that it’s beautiful and high quality like the blue one. Extremely Luxurious and soft on hair and skin.

These are fantastic. Love the feel and the luxury of them and I think I've seen some skin benefits too! Easy to handwash and they dry very quickly! Going to buy more.

At first I was skeptical about sleeping on a silk pillowcase since I love the feel of my soft Egyptian cotton sheets. However, my hairstylist was telling me that I was getting “mysterious” split ends on the hair on the back of my head. After some research, I decided to try out a silk pillowcase, and boy was I happily surprised. Immediately, I noticed a considerable difference in both my hair and my facial skin.Good bye bedhead, hello silky hair! I can’t believe how much softer and more manageable my hair is not only when I wake up, but throughout the day. My hair feels cleaner, too, but I don’t quite know why. It could be that the silk is keeping my head at a more even temperature while I sleep, or perhaps it is because the silk isn’t absorbing oils from my face or hair. Or maybe it has to do with having less friction for my hair during the night with my tossing and turning. I don’t understand the science behind it, but I can tell about the results.Many of the morning wrinkle marks on my face have disappeared. Unfortunately I still have some wrinkles that I’ve “earned” over my 50 plus years, but my face looks considerably fresher and less wrinkled in the morning than when I was using my cotton pillowcase.I highly recommend Celestial Silk. They provide a high quality product. My first silk pillowcase was from LilySilk, also a great product. However, Celestial Silk pillowcases are more reasonably priced. I was so impressed with sleeping on my silk pillowcase that I ordered a “bunch” of them from Celestial Silk for Christmas gift giving.

This was the first silk pillowcase I’ve ordered in a long time. Since receiving this one, I’ve ordered several others from other companies to compare as I wanted to give the silk pillowcases as Christmas gifts. The silk of this pillowcase is of good quality and certainly a good value for the money. I love the color, a rich, elegant taupe, not really a gold. I like that it’s very well made and does not have a zipper. I bought a premier brand that has the zipper on the end and to me, it looks like a pillow protector, not a silk pillowcase. Certainly not something I’d give as a gift. This pillowcase does not have a zipper but has a flap similar to what you’d find on a pillow sham. Unfortunately, the flap is about a third of the way in on the back side preventing you from flipping the pillow During sleep without getting a crease on your face. Therefore it did not meet my criteria to give as a gift. It is roomy and well made and if you have no need to ever flip it over, then the quality, color and value is certainly there. I just wanted something without that ugly zipper showing on the end but also a case that could be used on both sides. If the flap was closer to the end, Allowing both sides to be used, then it would be perfect.

This review is for the pillow out of the box, meaning I did not use it yet, but will update my review in a couple of weeks.I have multiple silk items from many popular brands, most silk products fall into three weight categories ( 19 momme, 22 momme, 25 momme ) the higher the weight, the better quality.. I have a 19 momme silk pillow from a different brand but I decided that I need a higher weight silk pillow... looking into most other brands, I found that most pillows are 22 momme but at a very high price point, so I was very pleased to find that Celestial Silk offers a 25 momme silk pillow, in king size at a relatively low price ! What is more impressive is that it says the weight on the pillow itself ( see my photo ) which Im very glad about because many other brands will send their pillows without any identifying tags or insert of any kind, which leaves me a bit skeptical. This pillow also comes in a nice box ( great gift for other people, and if for yourself, you feel like you are receiving a luxurious silk pillow) and a thank you note signed by one of the staff. Impressive!The pillow itself feels very soft and I can tell it is a higher weight silk, the color undyed natural white is beautiful and a clear white ( natural but it doesn't have any variations or stains ).They also offer teo types of closure ( envelop or zipper for the pilllow, I have the envelope so I cannot speak for the zipper).I will update my review after I wash it and use it for a few times.

Rarely submit reviews on Amazon, but the gorgeous silk pillowcase needs applause! Looks like a painting, feels heavenly, and kept me cooler than anything I have bought before. The size is significantly bigger than my pillow, but did not slide around or move at all.

I ordered this pillow case and a Blissy one on the same day. I sleep with both of them but there is a noticeable difference in “silkiness” as this one is 25momme and Blissy is 22momme it is a higher quality than the raved about Blissy. I like the Blissy and it has a lighter feel to the silk but this one feel like butter on your face (in a good way). I opted for the “off white” as it was a bit cheaper than the other colors and I feel good about the purchase and the quality. I do like that the Blissy zips but this one doesn’t seem to slide. I ordered a queen size for a standard pillow though so maybe that helps. Anyway, I’ve only had them for a couple of days, I can’t speak to the skin benefits but my hair hasn’t matted which was a big reason I switched to silk. Overall I’m loving this purchase. Highly recommend.

It is silk but it doesn’t feel like great quality. I thought I’d ordered natural but it is very white. The edges don’t look like the photos. Wouldn’t buy again.

I have purchased many types of silk pillowcases on Amazon, from 16 momme to 30 momme, one sided and two sided silk, from all different suppliers, and this one is by far the best quality and has the best quality "silkiness". I love that it has a folded envelope opening instead of a zipper; my experience with all zippered ones so far, is that they tear around the corners eventually, and the zippers don't last (this has been an expensive learning curve). I will definitely purchase more products from Celestial Silk.

Truly is a bougie pillowcase. You feel and see it. The material is absolutely beautiful. It washes up nicely in the washer on delicates cycle. I hang to dry. The quality of this silk doesn’t even compare to my Blissy pillowcase. The silkiness and coolness of sleeping on it is heaven not to mention the benefits to your skin and hair. Buy it, you deserve it! I might also mention that going for a silk pillowcase that is patterned is more forgiving than a solid color. It hides any marks. I even bought 2 more to make toss cushions for my couch!

maybe if it was a pair for such a price I'd be sure, pretty uncomfortable with the price no matter how soft and comfy the pillow-cases are
