Macbook Pro Hub USB C HUB with Thunderbolt 3， 4K HDMI, 3 x USB 3.0, USB c Charging Port, SD & Micro SD Card Reader for MacBook Pro Only (8-in-1)

This is the fourth hub I buy for my new Macbook Pro. All the previous ones, from different brands, had two huge problems:- The WIFI would not work as soon as I attached the hub to the computer- The hub would get extremely hotEspecially the WIFI problem got so bad that I honestly thought of returning my Macbook Pro and buying and old one with proper ports.This new hub has neither of those problems.The WiFi works flawlessly and the hub does not heat up at all!Maybe it is the fact that it does not attach to the computer but rather connects via a Thunderbolt 3 cable, or maybe it is just better construction, but I am very happy with this hub.I have yet to test how fast I can transfer data via the SD card slot or the USB slot, and of course I have no idea how long this hub will last before it breaks. But for now I am extremely happy with it!

I read lots of review of this type of device but as I know very little about them in the end it was a case of buying the one I felt most comfortable with. It’s neither the cheapest or most expensive at £20.00 and its early days but it worked well out of the packaging plugging easily to my macpro and downloaded photos from my camera.The process was very smooth and quick and I am pleased with it for the price.Please note that I have not yet tried the card readers but intend to do so over the weekend when I have taken more pictures, nor have I tried it when using other devices connected to my laptop.The device looks well made and looks good , almost an exact match in colour to laptop, very professional looking . It was well but not over packaged and arrived within stated time frame.I will write a further update once I have fully road tested the device

Used with an Samsung s8 phone.Pros-does work with dex-well made and looks goodCons-Without power attached it makes my s8 think there is water in the usb port which is strange.-contacted supplier and they also said that it needs to be powered at all times for use with the s8.. maybe others but not sure.-The usb 2 ports seem to be very very slow. They wont play a 4gb movie from a hd without stuttering. 7 in 1 USB Type C Hub with Power Delivery, HDMI Output, Card Reader, USB3.0 Data Transfer, PD Charging for MacBook/ Dell/ HP/ Huawei/ Lenovo/ Samsung/ ASUS/ Microsoft Lumia/ Google PixelBook/ LG, etc.  is the only usb-c hub that I have found that works perfectly with the S8 (apart from the samsung dex one but thats big and expensive).

The second USB-C port (The one rated at USB 3.0 speeds) doesn't support charging doesn't achieve the rated USB 3.0 speeds! This was a major issue for me as I only bought this to use my external SSD and charge my MacBook Pro 13" at the same time while transferring photos from my cameras SD card to the external SSD.Now at first, this may not sound like an issue... Just swap which port the charging cable and SSD are connected to...That doesn't work, when I do that, I can charge the laptop (Hooray), but the SSD gets limited to approximately 30MB/s which is no where near the write speeds which USB 3.0 is capable of (640MB/s). Whereas if I plug the SSD into the first USB C port (Rated at Thunderbolt 3 (40Gb/s write speeds)) it will run at the full speed the SSD can achieve (approximately 450-500MB/s).So this dock/hub/adapter (or whatever you want to call it) was no good for me, however for most USB 3 memory sticks it should be fine as they only run at 15-20MB/s write speeds which the second USB C port seems to be limited to.So, overall, this device makes no sense whatsoever and I'm somewhat disappointed in it considering it cost me £55.99!!!

If you like gadgets you will find yourself always without enough USB ports to connect to your computer. This USB C adapter is exactly what I need to connect my phones (yes plural) and other devices. It also is a superfast SD card reader and has 3 USB 3.0 ports for portable harddisks. If that isn't enough you can chain two or more together. The design is very sleek and looks great next to any laptop or Macbook. The hub features fast charging that charges my Maze Alpha within 30 mins to 60 percent.

Frankly not ideal. I find that open my 2017 15" MacBook Pro (brand new), it's really easy for this to disconnect from having just moved ever so slightly out of direct contact with the left side of my Mac. The slightest tug of a cable, even just a minute amount, and everything disconnects. Really less than ideal when I've got a monitor, hard drive, ethernet connection, and other wired peripherals connected. On top of this, the thunderbolt 3 port is exceptionally loose - cables pretty much just rest in the port. Not a fan. At the end of the day it principally works, I'll give you that, but it's not something I can rely upon in any realistic capacity.

My Microsoft Surface Go has only a single USB C socket on the side, so this sort of hub is essential to make proper use of the tablet. I'm really pleased with the hub, especially because of it's modest price.My only wish would be for the cable to be longer. On the Surface Go, this hub is dangling unsupported and I feel this will put strain on the tablet's only in/out port.

This feels like a lovely bit of kit and worked brilliantly but after a bit of use the connectors start to wobble like loose teeth and it stops working so is now only good for the bin unfortunately

Sono molto soddisfatto. Funziona perfettamente come Samsung Dex con il Note 8. Bisogna solo avere cura di connetterlo prima alla rete elettrica col caricatore del cellulare: caricherà contemporaneamente anche il telefono. Ha 3 porte USB, a cui connetto tastiera e mouse e da quando ce l'ho non mi porto più dietro il portatile, ma solo questo fantastico aggeggio, nelle funzioni in tutto identico all'originale dex di Samsung. Anzi migliore, avendo il card reader e ben 3 usb, di cui una 3.0, velocissima per passare i dati da hard disk e chiavette. L'Hdmi funziona a 1080p a 60hz oppure in 4k, ma solo a 30 hertz. Ottimo prodotto, piccolo, leggerissimo ed elegante, molto più pratico ed economico della basetta di Samsung. Lo consiglio a tutti.

Acquistato per usufruire della compatibilità con samsung dex con il mio samsung s8 plus e posso dire che funziona alla perfezione. E' stato l'unico che ho trovato con più funzionalità rispetto agli altri ad un prezzo molto basso rispetto alla dock originale samsung che supera i 90€. Non mi sarebbe dispiaciuto se ci fosse stata anche la porta VGA e tutte le 3 porte alla velocità del 3.0 ma considerando il prezzo posso ritenermi soddisfatto. Lo uso anche su macbook pro 15" con touchbar e funziona benissimo. Corriere poste italiane pessimo come sempre, ma il prodotto è fantastico, quindi lo valuto 5 stelle

Al mio Mac si accoppia subito e funziona bene. 7 in 1 significa che ci sono 7 prese diverse per attaccare diversi apparecchi. Abbiamo: prese usb 3.0 velocissime, hdmi 4k alta definizione, ingresso SD e micro-sd, attacco usb c. Comodissimo e di dimensioni ridotte. Sono soddisfatto dell'acquisto. Materiali fantastici, non me l'aspettavo. Veramente ottimo prodotto.

Très étonné par l'instabilité de ce produit, ça fait longtemps que je n'ai pas vu un gadget électronique d'aussi mauvaise qualité.Bonne apparence, léger, la connectique a l'air solide, mais...Je me connecte sur mon pc, affichage sur écran ok, puis je connecte sur un USB mon adaptateur clavier Logitech dessus et là plus de clavier (ni de souris puisque les deux sont appairés sur le même adaptateur), soit... Je remets l'adaptateur sur le pc : ça ne remarche pas !. Redémarrage,Anormalement long et qui termine en écran bleu (enfin vert maintenant) ...Essai sur mon Galaxy S8, avec un chargeur connecté : le mode dex démarre, chouette, mais s'arrête rapidement. Nouvel essai, plus moyen.Après contact avec le support, et une série de questions de leur part un peu redondantes durant lesquelles ils peinent visiblement avec Google translate, ils ne sont pas capables de me dire si c'est l'appareil qui pourrait avoir un dysfonctionnement et ne proposent même pas un échange...Retour expéditeur et demande de remboursement, vive Amazon pour ça.

Questo prodotto se non è alimentato in pratica non funziona solo con collegamento in tipe c.. ottimo per funzionalità dex con samsung s8.. tutti gli ingressi inclusi le porte 3.0 viaggiano a una media tra usb 2.0 e usb 3.0... microsd o sd secondo me più sensato l'acquisto di un'altro prodotto, son rimasto deluso come dicevo poco fa della lentezza nei trasferimenti sopratutto per quanto costa questo tipo di oggetto.

J'ai acheté ce produit pour pouvoir utiliser mon Samsung Galaxy S9+ en mode Dex.Je ne voulais pas acheter le Dex de samsung que je trouve un peu cher (149.90 environ).Ce hub fais très bien son boulot il est très petit s'emporte facilement possède énormément de possibilité de branchement (2 x USB 2.0 1 USB 3.0 Carte sd Micro SD HDMI).Pour utiliser le mode Dex il faut impérativement brancher un hdmi et l'alimentation en Type C (câble du téléphone) et se servir de la connectique type C qui sort du HUB.Je suis vraiment ravi de ce produit

Bonjour a tous,Petit retour sur le hub, attention a bien verifier que votre smartphone est bien compatible pour ma part je suis alle trop vite j'ai un honor 10 mais pas compatible avec le switch hdmi dommage j'aurais du faire attention. Concernant les autres fonctions tout marche super au final je m'en sers pour vider mon telephone via une vle usb le taux de transfert est tres bon. A noter que vous pouvez alimenter le switch via un usb c pour ne pas decharger votre telephone.Il est tres robuste (il a deja tombe 1 fois)Au final je recommande seulement faites attention que ce soit compatibleBonne journee

Ce produit est de loin le meilleur adaptateur USB C Hub sur Amazon. Tous les autres se réchauffent et commencent à sentir. Cet adaptateur vous fournira tous les ports dont vous avez besoin pour utiliser votre nouveau macbook à son plein potentiel! En général, je n’écris pas de critiques, mais celle-ci est un must car j’étais satisfaite de savoir que vous obtenez votre banque pour votre argent.Je voyage fréquemment et présente sur différents sujets, vlog et montage vidéo. Ce hub m'a bien servi et a aidé d'autres personnes qui n'ont pas l'adaptateur avec elles. Il est étonnant de voir également les ports USB, ce qui n’est pas le cas de tous les adaptateurs USB C.Cet achat est un must, ne le regrettez pas!

Cercavo un adattatore economico con diverse porta da utilizzare con Samsung Note8 in modalità Dex.Per la lettura delle pen drive non serve neanche collegare l'alimentazione (che ovviamente è necessaria se si vuole utilizzare la porta HDMI).Per il momento molto soddisfatto.

Prodotto eccezionale acquistato per far funzionare Samsung Dex sul mio S8 l'applicazione si avvia correttamente solo se si collega l'alimentatore

Ho acquistato questi hub per utilizzare la modalita Dex del note 8, sono rimasto davvero molto soddisfatto, funziona perfettamente. Molto più compatta ed economica della Dex Station di Samsung

Géniale brancher a mon chromebook pour pouvoir brancher un second écrans fonctionne super bien. Je recommande sans problème.

Hyper compact! Transportable partout! J’ai testé sur mon ordinateur hp qui a reconnu tout de suite le périphérique. Tous les ports fonctionne. Je n’ai pas encore testé le port de carte car je n’en avais pas sous la main.
