Chen Tai Chi for Beginners (YMAA) Chenhan Yang Step by Step Tai Chi DVD

I liked the performance. However the lessons should be broken down more simple. It’s a complicated form and to teach needs repeat examples from front side and back views while teaching the form not separate back view.

Dvd instructions are nice and slow. I think nearly everyone can enjoy using this.

Have to get use to do video on reverse but its great. Been wanting to do chen style tai chi for a long time. Great instruction

This video is one the best for training in Chen style. I hope Chenhan will be encourage to make the videos on the old frame 1 and 2

The Program is well done and once I took out a door mirror in order to see the reverse side of the DVD I was able to follow. The way is shown if I stand looking directly at him I'm in the opposite position. Something to look at when making this instructional DVD. At first, the first steps where OK as I knew to use the left foot. Then as it got more complex I found I would get lost in the movements left foot right hand etc. Using the mirror I can now follow

Basic instructions for an advanced form. Best used w/an instructor's aid. This teacher's presentation is excellent. Good for the ambitious student.

as a beginner try to follow the guy facing you ??? his left his your wright … every move he shows you are on the opposite side !!! this video should have been made with the guy back at you !!!

This is not for a beginner like me. I watched the cd for 10 minutes..........back in the box it went. It scared me just watching him. No way my body was doing that.
