Baby Einstein Sea Dreams Soother Musical Crib Toy and Sound Machine, Newborn and up

Oh. My. Gosh. This product is so great for soothing baby. I could not recommend this to someone more. It can be bright late at night but it slowly dims. It helps grabs baby’s attention for a little bit if you are needing to do something, it helps put baby to sleep. We bring it in the car so shes distracted. We used it on a 10hr road trip and it put her right to sleep. The little seashell remote only works in close distance. this is worth every penny and more.

I'd use it for myself as it's so cute!ORIGINAL REVIEW:I have long suspected that some mfrs are selling defective items that failed quality control. The product box I received was banged up & torn. Amazon placed it in a good shipping box, but shouldn't have sent it even if it worked as the product box was too damaged to give as a gift. The defects were an octopus getting stuck and jerking with a clicking noise, the music cutting out & volume level didn't change, the light blinked on and off instead of being steady. This happened with Melissa & Doug too. I'm tired of receiving defective items that mfrs sell here & get away with it. Companies doing this know most buyers won't do the steps to return.

The media could not be loaded. My baby LOVES this thing. He smiles and squeals little happy baby noises and kicks his little legs while the music plays. I didn’t even realize at first that it has a quiet mode, different movement and light modes, and you can slide the volume option to off so baby doesn’t accidentally turn it on in his or her sleep. It attaches securely to the crib so you don’t have to worry about it tipping over.Great for keeping baby entertained and happy, and even great for a tummy time motivator! I turned this on at night and he was cooing happily at the glowing light and reaching his hand toward the little sea creatures. Absolutely adorable! And as an added bonus I don’t find the music annoying at all! So many things have annoying sounds and this one is just perfect and automatically turns off after awhile. I must say the remote doesn’t work super well but that’s not a big deal to me, I’m right near my baby anyway so it’s easy to just press the button again.

We bought this for our baby because she absolutely hated sitting in the car seat and we thought it might provide a good distraction. We rigged this up to the head rest and it helps her relax and eventually drift off to sleep. I love having the remote so I can start and stop it from the front seat. It is very well made and worth the price.It takes four C batteries so I recommend buying rechargeable ones. The batteries last a long time, but if you use it as often as we do then you will go through them quickly.

This toy is great because it is very distracting and seems to help keep baby calm to go to sleep. I wish there were multiple ways to mount this for not just cribs but pack n plays too. The brightness is great and it automatically dims and turns off at 30 minutes. It is also fairly heavy and makes me a bit nervous if it were to fall (WHICH HAS NOT HAPPENED, it’s just a worry).- 2 levels of noise control- different options for just playing lights, sound, movement, etc- remote that works up to 12ft away

I loved this for my son I even bought one as a baby shower gift. My son had it since 3 months old and after a little over a year it started glitching and giving out, the red light would blink so we replaced the batteries but that didn’t work and now it just goes on for a couples second but sounds scary robotic then turns of. Still a favorite product for little and highly recommend it. We will try to reach out to customer support to see if we can troubleshoot it.

I love this item so much, and when you have a 6-month-old going on a 16-hour road trip, I HIGHLY AND I MEAN HIGHLY recommend bringing this along for the ride! This item lights up, moves, and has pretty wave light animations. The sounds are soothing, and the light turns off after a certain time to save battery. The remote is also a game changer; when it turns off, you can easily use it while in the front seat. Bring it in the car and attach it to the back headrest, to the crib, to the wall, anywhere you can. This device has been a TV alternative life saver!

This toy is great! My son (4 mo) loves it. I have put it in his crib a few times to occupy him for a short time while I got things done. It's very sturdy. Most of the time, though, I keep this toy propped against a wall by his play mat. It's great for tummy time. It's also great for when he's a little worked up because the sounds, motions, and light is very soothing. I like that it has 2 levels of volume control. I don't really use the remote control but I guess it's a nice perk.
