Ghirardelli Premium Dark Coating Wafers, 5lb Bag

This has changed my treat making. Having it ready to melt with non of the tempering to do is a game changer. I can now make treats in no time. I have used it to make filled chocolate bars, dipped strawberries, covered sandwich cookies and even have just popped a few in my mouth for a quick chocolate fix. It coated the strawberries with a nice coat in one dip and hardened quickly so we had delicious treat in less than 20 minutes from start to finish. I made peanut butter filled ritz crackers and dipped them with equal yummy and quick results. Because I live in the PNW where the weather is chilly this time of year I didn't even need to put these in the fridge. I did place the chocoalte bars in the fridge and they were ready in less then 15 minutes. The taste is great, no waxy taste, just smooth, rich chocolate. These are now a staple in my pantry.

These chocolates are great for bars and other confections. They taste rich and delicious without too much milky or bitterness. I usually like dark chocolate and my nephews prefer milk and we all agree these are tasty. I made Dubai bars with them and then the rest were snacked on by my partner and nephews. I highly recommend.

I make homemade peanut butter cups and this chocolate makes them taste like gourmet candy. You get what you pay for, and these are worth the few dollars more

I love that you don't have to temper this chocolate to use it to dip. I've used it on strawberries, bananas, and mandarin oranges, and potato chips with great results. It's also a bigger bag and a much better price than at my local grocery store. Almost done with the this bag and will definitely be buying another.

Wafers melted easily and without tempering, the coating was shiny; good chocolaty taste.

Cane sugar and Vegetable oil are the first two ingredients in these - just be aware.That said they were not bad and easy to work with - but Ill be spending a bit more to get the ones without vegetable oil

Using for truffle shells.....perfect, easy to use, great dark chocolate taste.
