So handy! The outside & bottom barely get warm & feel good to wrap hands around on cold days w/ no burning of hands or surfaces @ all. All 3 colors look great. I kept the green for myself. I've fried HB in it, added some peas, gr. beans, & pumpkin in after draining the fat off & made a meal for my dog. It does much more than rice & soups. It's very fast. If non-scratch utensils are used, it can serve both for cooking & also eating out of. Nothing sticks to it as long Iong as non-scratch cleaning pads & utensils are the only things used in it. A set of bamboo eating utensils along w/ silicone cooking utensils work perfectly to protect the ceramic. It would work for workplace lunches, college dorm use, RV's & tiny kitchens, or single people just not needing to drag out a lot of cooking stuff. I thought it was pricey & almost decided against getting it. I really like it tho! It heats so fast that I pretty much ignore the settings & just watch it. Takes about 30 seconds to heat a can of soup. Less for hot chocolate. It'll cook spaghetti, mac & cheese, & all sorts of soups/stews/noodles/& things. I haven't tried baking a muffin or brownie in it yet, but I think I could w/ the keep warm feature if the hot functions are too hot. I'll have to try both ways & see, but I bet it'll work. It's big enough to use some of the the microwave mug meal recipes (doubled) in it. This is a handy little appliance that has really impressed me w/ what all I can use it for & how cute, simple, & easily adaptable it has been for me. I'm having fun thinking of new things to try in it. Baked apples & cinnamon maybe, or who knows what.

As you all know by now, I am always on the hunt for new house appliances and this time I've struck gold with a shiny new gadget to add to my, admittedly large collection of devices that I’ve amassed over the years. Not only is it multi-functional, its so freaking adorable too, coming in three different colors and a positively cute simple design.This rice cooker is perfect for meal prep for items such as rice, pasta, soups, stews and much more. Not only can it be used to cook food, it can also be used to keep food warm as well wherever you go. Perfect for taking to the office for a potluck or taking it with you on a camping trip to have delicious meals wherever you go! Sports excellent safety features such as an automatic power-off feature and anti-burn technology. It also has a non-stick ceramic surface, making for extra easy cleanup and giving you peace of mind when it comes to your food sticking and burning. I absolutely recommend this product.

This product was returned once already. Enamel around the edge chipped off on the first one. The second one the enamel has come off in pin head size areas inside the pot. my granddaughter is afraid to use it with the enamel coming off in her food. Date for returning has expired so I will just have to dispose of the rice cooker. I will not be ordering another one.

I had to replace my standard rice cooker when I noticed the non-stick surface flaking off. This was the only cooker that advertised a ceramic non-stick surface. I would have ordered a larger model if it existed & given it 5 stars. 1 star off for only holding 2 cups of rice & water. The product description never said what the cup capacity was. This cooker takes up much less counter space than my previous 4 cup rice cooker. Medium grain rice didn't stick to the surface & just needed a scrub sponge to washit . There is no removable insert, & you can't soak the whole appliance. But you don't have to since no scrubbing is needed. The cook temerature is higher than my old rice cooker. The rice was boiling instead of simmering. But it didn't produce the starchy film from the boil out from the vent. All the rice scooped out cleanly & nothing stuck to the cooking surface. I'll have to try the other cook settings it has. But it does what I wanted & it is easier to keep clean.
