Arrived rolling around in the shipping box & I’m concerned that stress on the salt block will result in cracking. The bigger concern is melting.... the heat & humidity was high resulting in salt mortar sweating & a puddle of water at the base. Storing in the freezer

Love it, I was worried that it may be too small but it is the perfect size.

Beautiful mortar and pestle, but it doesn’t seem to be sanded all the way on the inside, maybe I just got the odd one, but otherwise it’s very nice. It doesn’t seem extremely durable and meant to last a lifetime but I could be wrong.

This is a great addition to my kitchen but if you plan to use this to make pesto, you might want to purchase one with a longer pestle. My hand became very tired and messy when trying to make pesto with this. I love how it infused the salt into the pesto but a longer pestle would be better and less fatiguing to the hand.

I am no professional chef, but I do love to cook. I especially enjoy using fresh herbs. This is exactly what I had been looking for. It really does give a nice hint of Himalayan salt to any herb you use. I love the look of it too. I leave mine out even when not in use. The only thing is the cleaning. I fear removal of the salt if washed too many times. I simply use a wet paper towel and wipe it out. I figure, like a skillet, it will just be seasoned :)

Works wonderfully! I have only used it fit mint so far, but my mint became sopping in its own juices in seconds with this wonderful device!

Bought this last October and it is broken already. It has never been dropped and it looks like its melting. Super weird, I have to be very careful because pieces get stuck in your hands and can cut you. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product to anyone. I'm very displease. Horrible quality. I will give this product ZERO STARS. (it made me choose one star but is deserves Zero)
