Ok, I looked at some of these from different sellers. Yes, there were some less expensive options but I am glad I went with this model. My first reaction was, "What?? Almost $20 for a bottle handle??" Well, the first day I had my shiny new water bottle in my car and hit my brakes, It went flying off the seat. I knew I needed something to keep it from rolling. It is very high quality and made in the good 'ol USA so I am very happy with it. The lifetime warranty is just the icing on the cake.I bought the Turquoise Flow 32oz bottle and this fits PERFECTLY. The Mint/Black also matches the bottle color.  the flow Stainless Steel Water Bottle Double Walled/Vacuum Insulated - BPA/Toxin Free - Wide Mouth with Straw Lid, Carabiner Lid and Flip Lid, 32 oz.(1 Liter) (Green) Anyway, I bought the bottle for the gym. With this handle, I can put my car keys on the carabiner. The handle stays tight so I don't have to worry about it slipping off.I would say that I would recommend this to my friends but I already have when they asked me about it. I told them to get this brand from Gearproz.If you are reading these reviews to see if this is the one you want, it is. Get it.

Yesterday the handle randomly slipped off causing my bottle to bounce onto the parking lot I was traversing. Today when I got home from work I noticed a stray cord fiber. I'm not sure what caused it to break, but I thought I'd salvage parts at least. The slide stop is the only worthwhile part. The nylon cord itself seems very low quality. I snipped a fresh end and examined the guts and they are simple nylon. Even the cord wrap seems cheap now it's not tightly wound. Certainly subpar to the military specs. In summary, it was fine while it lasted, but don't count on the paracord for emergencies. I doubt it's type III nylon.****** Update ******Immediately after I posted my review I was contacted by Gearproz and they replaced the handle. The new handle has lasted since my review and seems significantly more durable as its survived much more demanding conditions than its predecessor. I should”ve updated my review earlier but I’ve been busy. I now recommend this product.

I ordered this for my mammoth 64oz hydro flask bottle. I originally had a 40oz bottle but I drink so much water that I needed something bigger. Getting a bigger bottle, I had to adjust to carrying more weight. The bottle itself is big, bulky, and hard to carry (especially with the wide mouth straw lid on it). I purchased the gearproz paracord handle in the color “mint” with the whistle and compass attached and it is amazing! I already love how much easier it is to lug my big water bottle around. The cord is thick and sturdy, definitely a better quality than any others I have seen. It was worth the extra $6 over competitors cords for the better cord that matches my bottle and lid.TIP: I saw a lot of reviews pointing out how hard it is to put on initially and I have a trick. Before putting your paracord on, set it out in the sun for 5-10 mins, this softens the outer rim and so that it is easier to manipulate getting it around the wide mouth of your bottle. This trick makes for a quick and easy installation. I had no troubles putting mine on myself (and I have extremely weak hands). Hope this helps!

I purchased my 32 oz. Hydro Flask about a month ago. I travel with it to and from work and wherever I please… =o) Since the HF is a little on the bigger side and trying to carry it along with all my other items was starting to get to be a pain. Throwing it a bag or my purse was weighing it down and trying to take it out was a little but of a hassle as well. So I started looking for something that would make it easier to carry. That’s when I came across the Hydro Flask Handle. The handle has been a great addition to my HF. It has made carrying my HF back and forth so much easier. The cord itself is thick and feels very comfortable in my hand. The cord is long enough for me to grab it as I’m running out the door or to easily slip over my arm and onto my forearm so I can grab all my other items as well and still be able to lock. =o) On one end of the handle there is a plastic buckle clasp that allows you to unclip it so you can loop it through and clip to a bag. It also allows you be able to drink from the HF much easier if prefer the Wide Mouth Flat Cap lid just by unclipping the handle. Of course the handle also comes with a rubber ring, which is needed to hold the cord securely in place, which has a hole on one side so you can insert the carabiner hook into the hole so you can easily hook it from that point as well. In addition to the actual great performance of the item, the color of my handle is the exact same purple as my HF. YAY! I would definitely recommend the handle to any and all who have a HF. This is a great addition for you HF!

The rubber ring that goes around the bottom of the lip of my Hydro Flask was hard as hell to put on. I used a blow dryer to warm and soften the rubber as instructed on the website. I also soaked the rubber ring in hot water. The instructions say you need a strong hand but what you need is 2 adults holding each side of the Hydro Flask and a screwdriver pushed into the hole where the carabiner goes. I am not kidding at all. It’s on now and I will never take it off. Now that it’s on, I like the feel of the handle and it makes it so much easier to carry.

I don’t often write reviews but I thought it was important to write one for this product and company. I wanted to buy a handle for my daughter’s HydroFlask. I wanted to support a “Made in the USA” product & company. Even though this product is a few dollars more than the other cheap, Chinese knockoffs, I didn’t mind paying the price. Actually, it was well worth it! This product is of superior quality. It has those extra features (compass, fire starter & whistle) as well as the cord can be used for so many things in an emergency situation. I wish I found this product sooner because it would’ve come in handy in a situation my daughter found herself in while hiking recently. Highly recommend this product & this company!! Thank you for making a great product & thinking of all the possible situations in which this can be helpful. It’s truly more than just a handle for a water bottle!
