Very nice design. However, the assembly of this machine at the factory is bad. My mower arrived with the two front wheels bent and the single adjustment lever to raise or lower all four wheels at once was horribly bent as well. The lever was an assembly error and not a damage from shipping.Somebody assembled the height assembly lever incorrectly and instead of disassembling the mechanism and reassembling correctly, the height adjustment lever was ' twisted ' to get it to work and cannot be repaired. ( The lever will not stay in any locked position and prevents me from using the mower at all. ). AAVIX manufacturing has a very cleverly designed mower but sloppy assembly line construction and careless shipping will quickly ruin their reputation !! Im hoping that AAVIX can supply me with another lever for cutting height adjustment which I can replace myself without too much trouble. What happened to quality control ??On a positive note, I filled the crankcase with oil and then topped the fuel tank with gas and that baby fired up on the very first pull and purred !! Nice engine !! I e- mailed AAVIX for a replacement lever and hope it shows up fast. I really would like to start using my new mower.UPDATE: AAVIX delivered my new knob and was not difficult to install. Works great !

One of the front wheels was bent inward in shipping (cheap box and UPS is rough with large packages). One of the front wheels fell off the first time I used the mower (nut fell off). After about the third use the drive belt would not stay on the pulley... it looked like an error in drilling the drive shaft holes in one side of the deck allowed the shaft to move causing an uneven cut and slack in the belt (causing it to fall off and the self propulsion to stop). I ended up eating 20% of the cost (I had had it a little over a month) and returning it (ended up having to buy a heavy gauge box since the original was mutilated on arrival). Poor quality (build) control, poor packaging. One positive... the engine runs great and the padded handle bar is comfortable.

I had no problem putting it together and it's very sturdy to use. Easy to push. It was the least expensive 20 inch push mower so I had some reservations about the quality but this is rock solid. I saved a bundle going with this model. I wish they offered something to sharpen the blades in the future.

It's mostly what I expected: durable, relatively easy to use, energy efficient. The blades get caught up on small branches, as I expected. It cuts most of the grass very well, however if there are seed heads they don't get cut at all. Good value.

Dont buy this mower. I was mowing and the handle just snapped. Have had since may. It does mow nice and selfperpel is good but not sturdy.

This is great! Really enjoy cutting with this. Makes job MUCH easier.

Easy to assemble; wide, sharp quite, good height adjustment and cut my well groomed 1/4 Acer St. Augustine lawn with ease about the same effort with my push motorized mower. It struggled a little in the dip an bumpy areas but easily recovered. The handle assembly felt flimsy but hopefully the overall steel construction will hold with careful use. Got stuck in 1/4" to larger debris in the lawn but kick the blades back to loosen it. The catcher is okay since it does not vacuum compared to the motorized version. Almost maintenance free except for keeping the blades to stay sharp. " Worth the money".
