I needed a good bright light for my double garage and decided on a LED E27 Corn bulb. Two different types were purchased and this one by Ahevo was lighter, shorter and had a fan, in theory the fan would keep the bulb cooler and last longer. I switched the Ahevo on first and there was this loud noise that I couldn't believe was coming from a bulb. I went and stood underneath which confirmed it, but quickly moved away in fear this might explode. The other bulb was silent. So mixed feelings with this Ahevo bulb, fairly lightweight, not too long and a good bright light but the noisy fan was just too loud to put up with even if it was keeping the bulb cool. If you do decide to try this, at least with Amazon, if unacceptable it can be returned.

I think this LED technology is the future; a big step to save energy in everyday use and also save the planet which is an important criterion for me when I’m buying a product. Also save money and save the planet! I will never ever buy any old style Incandescent light bulb. I have changed all the bulbs in the whole house and now I am ready to pay much much less for electricity bills :) I absolutely recommend buying these LED light bulb.

Puts out good amount of light, CRI is not the greatest.One thing though DO NOT TOUCH the metal part of the bulb while it`s on IT WILL SHOCK YOU!!!

used for a week, this thing is a sunsoooooo brightthe only thing that keeps my GF unhappy is the fan noise but I can live with it (live with my GF's complain)

Was too large to fit were I needed it, but the brightness is WOW good
