The material is good and sturdy. There is adequate weight in the board that it does not slip or slide easily.Measurements are correct ( 0.5 cms diff)If you do want to cook for 2-3 people, this would be okay for you. However if you want to cook for a larger family of 4-6 or more, then would suggest you go for a bigger board.

Received defective product
Quality was good. But I received a defective product, corner was filled with wood filler. I hope it's bit costly.
