This is a good book, so I can read God's words learn more Japanese everyday the same time. But you need to know Kanji pronunciations very well before you can read Japanese line, because not all Kanji have hiragana on top, just some hard characters does..

I bought this for my grandson who is learning Japanese. He says he loves it.

Great for learning

I don't speak or read in Japanese - I bought this as a gift. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the cover lacks. I was hoping a Bible for this price would have a better hard cover, but instead it feels like rough flimsy paper... like construction paper. But the book will serve it's purpose.

Love the lightweight but sturdy cover. The Japanese & English texts are side by side so helpful in Bible study. Delivery was prompt!

I like that this Bible has Japanese and English side by side. It's great for people learning Japanese or English. I use the Holy Bible app to listen to the recording of the Japanese Bible. The Interconfessional version is one of the most widely used versions of the Japanese Bible and I like the Today's English Translation as it offers variety compared to the NIV I usually use. Sometimes the Today's English Translation is easier to understand than NIV. I just wish this Bible had furigana.

英語を参照しつつ読むことで聖書の記述の理解が進む。ただし、かなり重いので手首が疲れる。
