Melt With You

This book was absolutely beautiful and amazing. I cried at the end years of joy for the main characters. I will never ever get enough of stories like this because even though I might be a 42 year old man, but maybe I can someday find love like these 2 people did in this book. I can't recommend this book highly enough. Jennifer Dugan is one hell of a writer and I love her for it. This book is a masterpiece in my opinion.

Ice cream +road trip+ food van = the perfect summer read 🥰This is the first book I’ve read by this author I’ve just ordered the rest of her books too. I love everything about this book but I do wish the road trip was a few chapters longer then it was as I think it was only about 2 or 3 chapters all together.FYI as somebody who isn’t the typical YA age I was worried that this book would be too immature and aimed at school age child but I’m really happy it wasn’t the case - I would put it in the older end of the YA genre.Can’t wait to read her next book!!!

I like the plot, wouldn’t ask for a better ending. It was definitely interesting.

‘some girls do’ was the first book i read this year, and the first book i’d read from this author. this, of course, lead to me having such high hopes for every other book to come. (some girls do was phenomenal).‘melt with you’ as a follow up for me, did not disappoint. it is full of lighthearted humour, messy girls and most importantly: ice-cream puns.this story was easy, an escape from whatever’s currently happening in the world right now that i couldn’t help but be thankful for. following fallon and chloe’s story was so much fun! they’d leave you giggling and rolling your eyes ridiculously far back in your head because wow, if they’d just learned to talk maybe it would’ve just been a fun happy time!! but no, because every good book has some good old fashioned angst and misunderstanding. the reality dashed in with the fantasy. i loved learning each of their personalities and seeing them grow into who they’re going to be- still questioning college and what they thought they knew of the other. it was told really well.i really really enjoyed this! roadtrip books are such an enjoyable niche and i would like more of them pls <3 all the adventures with a companion besides you who you hate to love. frenemies to lovers anyone?overall it’s very good! very quick! and very sweet!
