Does What it is Made for
This device works exactly as designed. It makes it possible to move trailers by myself, that otherwise would have been risky for back or other body injuries. You could build your own, but I doubt you could build a better or equal as cheap. Some things you should just buy instead of build if you really think from a viewpoint of practicality. This is one of them!

The cheapest wheels ever
The first time trying to use this the wheels folded over. The tires didn't pop, the rims bent at the hub and one tire came completely off. I have a trailer with a tongue weight of about 500 pounds. My neighbor and I were able to pick the trailer tongue up with some effort. I have no idea how they rate this at 3500 lbs. Unfortunately by the time I used it, I was outside the return period and lost out on $179.00.

A solid 4 due to some wheel issues.
I like this dolly a lot. I had one for roughly 3 years. My boat and trailer are about 2600 lbs loaded. I can move it around fairly well on flat concrete. Add some slope to that and not too easy for me. To try and give someone a gauge on effort to move things with it I am 210 lbs and average to slightly above average when it comes to strength. The biggest downside to this thing honestly is the wheels/tires. The flat free ones used will flatten if if left with too much pressure on them for too long of a time. I made the mistake of not fully taking all the tongue weight off it for a month and the tires cracked and had flat spots. In their defense as well, my garage routinely hits over 100 during the summer. What I didn't like wasn't that they eventually got flat and cracked. The problem for me is it is very hard to find replacements. The dolly has a very heavy duty 1" diameter axle. It also has a very long axle. Both of these are good for weight bearing....not so much for finding replacement wheels/tires. If the mftg sold tires/wheels as replacements I would have rated it a 5 even with the blowouts. With out that it is a lot of searching and modifying to keep this from becoming yard art.

Tires don't hold up to the weight of a boat
After 2 uses the tire axel bent. Structurally the dolly seems sound. But the wheels/axel are just not made to maneuver an eighteen foot boat.

So Needed
I so needed this to make the cargo trailer work. They don't tell you when you are buying a cargo trailer that you will need a wheel jack, and a trailer dolly. If you don't get them the 2 inch hitch will NEVER attach onto your vehicle for towing. I tried 3 brands before this one actually worked. Thank the heavens something worked at last. The movement is slow but works eventually, and I will never buy an electric one again those break in two seconds.

Not bad BUT
Works great if you're moving us light trailer around if you have a load in the trailer forget it the air tires collapse and fold sideways so I put solid tires on it and now it works great all the time
