I had a terrible flood from a hurricane a couple years back. I’ve been hand turning on my system now for quite a while. I called a sprinkler guy to assess the system. After about $1,000 of unnecessary work he said I needed a new timer. I was like, “yeah right, give you more money?”. I saw the power source was swollen with rust but the system was still intact. To save a buck I bought this to test if I really needed a whole new unit. Nope, it all works! Trade a few hundred bucks for just a cheap cord. Well worth the gamble. It saved me a lot of money.

Great transformer--just what I needed for my old Rainbird 4 zone controller. The old one burnt out from a power surge. The system is up and running again.

I lost the cord that came with my sprinkler system so I bought this one! Is exactly compatible as the original one! The size, use and everything is exactly the same !!! Performs just like the original one and I feel it even works better than the original!! Love the price !!

I’m not using this as a power supply for an irrigation controller. I plugged it into a smart outlet to directly control one sprinkler valve. It’s working fine so far.I find the smart outlets are much more versatile than irrigation controllers. And I can run 12 and 24 volt valves. I just need to have one smart outlet and power supply for each valve.
