No idea how it worked, but it did. I used this in South Africa during an animal conservation trip for 2 weeks straight, never taking it off other to shower, and I wasn't bitten by a single insect even once. It was also a lifesaver when I forgot to put bug spray on. The glow in the dark feature was also awesome, it glowed bright and I got a few complimentsOf course use this while also wearing bug spray, don't just rely on the band.

insect repellant
Thrilled to bits with this product! Am extremely allergic to many biting, stinging insects & have used many different repellants over past 6years, but this one was def. the best yet. So easy to use & absolutely no mess or unpleasant smell(as some wristbands have) & throughout the season whilst I was wearing it, I wasn't bitten or stung at all!! It is also much longer lasting than many of the others available. So I will definitely be repeating this order next summer!! I would highly recommend this to anyone with similar problems.

I am not sure??
I am still not sure... The first band which I bought on an aircraft really worked well. This new one I am now wearing constantly, but not in shower, and last night I was eaten by mosquitoes on both my arms. It seems fine during the day. Unless something is different, it doesn't seem to be giving me the same protection.

Used them when I went to Goa, as someone who ALWAYS Gets bitten, worked a treat 😁.Never got bitten once !

Not too bad.
I'm not sure if this protected us or not as we also used repellent but the instructions aren't very clear on how to activate the bands.

A must for holiday brought on plane once much cheaper here plus you get all sizes and great colours

This didn't offer compete protection against mosquito bites as I got bitten while wearing it. I was travelling for 3 weeks and wore a new bracelet each week. In my opinion it would help to repel mosquitos but for ppl like me who mosquitos tend to attract to and in areas where the mosquito problem is particularly bad I recommend using this along with another form of repellent
