Worked out great
Maybe a bit more shock absorption or padding would be nice. Fit is great and easy to adjust for 8yr old kids. Adjustments should allow for them to grow a couple years. Definitely foresee them needing to upgrade for protection and padding to deal with power of strikes before they out grow.
