Used it a few times when I need two in action at the same time.Correction. They work well and reduce water loss especially in second water bath used for veg at higher temperature.

Brilliant and essential.
Can’t fault these. Make a world of difference in reducing water evaporation cooking sou vide. Cheap simple solution and fit any pot, obviously!

Energie und Wassersparen beim Sous-Vide kochen
Zu den Sous-Vide Kocher habe ich gleich diese Isolationskugeln dazubestellt.So kann ich verhindern das zuviel Wasser verdampft und man ständig nachfüllen muß.Geliefert werden die Kugeln in einen Netz, laut Verkäufer sind es 250 Stück.Die Kugeln bestehen aus 100% BPA freies Polyethylen und halten Temperaturen bis zu 99° C stand.Wenn diese Kugeln verwendet werden hat man bis zu 80% weniger Hitzeverlust und 90% Wasser verdampft weniger.Zur Reinigung können die Kugel in das Netz gegeben werden, da könne sie auch trocknen.Die Kugeln funktionieren wunderbar und sparen Energie und Wasser.

Ero un po' scetticone pensavo di comprare un semplice coperchio, ma poi mi sono ricreduto funzionano alla grande ti permettono di usare qualsiasi recipiente e non hai problemi di evaporazione, testate su una cottura di 6 ore acqua e scesa meno di 1 cm. Eccezuonali
