Excellent fan, unfortunately mine broke! But Dreo customer service is excellent
Really pleased with this fan, it's so quiet on the lower speeds, perfect for keeping the air circulating on hot, muggy nights. The high speed setting is very powerful. The app is good, the remote doesn't feel cheap and I like the mute function to avoid the beeps when adjusting it in the middle of the night! The sleep setting is great letting you start off with a stronger setting and it gradually reduces over the course of the night. The only negative - after being switched off over the winter, I was absolutely gutted to find it was completely dead when I plugged it back in on a very hot evening the following summer. I'd had it for 11 months at this point, but had only really used it for a few months. However, I got in touch with Dreo customer services and they were absolutely fantastic. Which is why I still score this as a perfect 5. All I had to do was explain the issue, take a quick video of the problem and provide some purchase information, serial numbers e.t.c. and they very swiftly sent me out a replacement fan.The way Dreo dealt with my issue was faultless and I would definitely buy from them again.

Better than my Dyson fan
I bought the Dreo fan having moved house over the winter, and now having two rooms that are sun traps used during the day, the one Dyson fan I owned wasn’t enough to cover requirements.Having bought this, I wish I could justify replacing the Dyson with another Dreo. Even just going off the direct comparables, the Dreo is more powerful and provides more coverage at a similar (if not slightly quieter) volume. The remote is more responsive too, and is slightly easier to use.On top of that, though, the smart features set it completely apart. It was ready to use (including assembly, setting up the app and setting up with Alexa) 10 minutes after opening the box, and it can be operated entirely, and with more flexibility than the Dyson, entirely from my smartphone. Being able to monitor the temperature of the room, then being able to set all the settings of the fan and turn it on when being out of the house so the room is cool when I get home, makes it so much more useful. Being able to use it with Alexa is really useful when in the house, and it is responsive to what I would consider ‘every day’ commands, rather than really specific language, which I haven’t always found to be the case with smart tech. And to cap it all off, it was less than a quarter of the price of the Dyson I own.You can certainly buy tower fans that don’t cost as much as this, but in terms of features, and the power being put out compared to the volume, I think it’s difficult to find better value in a similar product.

I thought tower fans were cr*p until this!
I thought tower fans were cr*p until I got this!I got myself into the YouTube rabbit holes as you do and whilst sweating my nut off decided to look into new fans, as my old one was as useful as some fanning me with a small leaf…After a few videos there were a couple clear winners, this and the levoit.I preferred the look and overall design of the dreo so I smashed that purchased button then proceeded to impatiently wait and see what the hype was about.First impressions was oh damn this is bigger than what I was expecting, not disappointed (that’s what she said). With the assembly the only mildly tricky part was the stand, I’ll save you the headache. Put it into a plus symbol (+) and twist it into place and the rest was super easy.App was set up and everything ready within 5 minutes now time to have fun.Now being the scientist I am, the first thing you do is put it on full power right? Within 15 seconds I went from Sahara to Antarctica, never has a fan made me cold.I’m used to a tepid breeze of warm air being blown at me, this actually cools the air it blows. The fact in the app it tells you the ambient temperature of the room is wild to me.Me and my Neanderthal brain will one day make use of its full potential to set it up whilst I’m away from home to cool the room before I’m home but one step at a time.Long story short, it’s a great bit of kit. It’s quiet, powerful, moves a lot of air on low speeds, relatively inexpensive especially for what you get and if you’re shopping about I’d invest cos it’s mint and I can’t go back to budget tower fans!Don’t usually comment for products but it’s ace…

This is the best Dreo tower fan! Buy this one!
Dreo make a variety of tower fans, but while they all look similar they have very different qualities. This one, the Cruiser Pro T2S, has the new near-silent DC motor which goes down to 25dBa instead of the 28dBa models, and it costs the same. It also uses less energy, so is a better choice all around. For placing in a bedroom for sleeping or in the background while working this is very very quiet, the fan motor is audible but very tolerable and easily ignored. The oscillation movement is also dead-silent unlike a lot of other cheaper tower fans which click or squeak in motion. The bright white LED display can also be turned off with the remote, and the 'beep' can be silenced, so ideal for sleeping.
