Nice decor piece
It's small, so it can fit on a side table outdoors, or a smaller table. It looks nice and stylish. It gives off a little bit of heat for its size. If you want more heat you would probably have to get several of these and place them all around. Overall I like it.

Great little tabletop fire bowl
I was surprised at how nice this little fire bowl is given the price - and the fact that the design is faux wood inspired… I love that look, but in general it doesn’t turn out very well when the item isn’t high end. Of course, it’s not actual wood and it doesn’t look exactly like wood, but it looks much better than many other things I’ve seen, and just overall has a higher end styling. The quality of the bowl is also great - the ceramic is solid, and doesn’t feel thin or delicate, the glass isn’t THICK, but seems sturdy enough, and the metal parts are good quality stainless steel. I especially appreciate that this one comes with a lid for extinguishing the flame, rather than having to let it burn out, which I found to be the standard, even among more expensive table top fire bowls. Finally, the flame lasts just as long as others fire bowls of this size… And for three people, at least, is the perfect amount of time for toasting marshmallows for s’mores (2 each).Between the great style and solid quality, this is a nice little fire bowl for both style and for toasting marshmallows for s’mores!

Fantastical modern day fire pit
This is something that is futuristic to me which I love to play with. This is a really cool miniature size fire pit for lack of a better word. You can start the flame using regular rubbing alcohol and it seems very safe to use indoors or outdoors. If you like roasting marshmallows on a skewer this little fire pit will help you do that. A great item to show your friends and family or have it lit up during a party in the backyard or inside the home. A great conversation show and tell piece of artwork in my opinion. A great item for yourself or as a gift.

Well made, nice heavy feel, large wick, modern and elegant look.
The media could not be loaded. I was unsure about this after I looked into the fuel cost of the suggested Bio-Ethanol and I did order some bottles but I have not received them yet.So I ending up just buying 91% alcohol (after doing some research) , it is cheap and easy to find and best of all it woks perfectly and clean burning, I am using the large wick (that was included) and the flame is not too high or too little.I now love my little concrete burner, the modern look, pretty flame it offers and versatile fuels (Bio-Ethanol, gel fuel, alcohol). It can be used indoors or out and looks modern and elegant.Nice gift idea.

Enjoy the Beauty but Respect the Dangers of Fire
I educated myself on bioethanol after receiving this. Be careful using any product like this. Never overfill the container! There is a maximum-fill indicator, make sure the liquid bioethanol is below that level. Never ever refill when hot! Educate yourself and family members about proper use. Always read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Ethanol flames may not be visible so if you knock over the lamp you might not see where the flames are. After watching a video on the subject, I don’t think I will feel comfortable using anything like this without a fire blanket (can be found for less than $20) or a fire extinguisher rated for ethanol nearby. But I think if you take the proper precautions, it is reasonable to use a product like this and get enjoyment out of it.Also, I think I like the idea of using a prefilled gel can as the fuel instead of liquid. The consistency of gel seems like a better idea than using liquid fuel. People have been using canned gel fuel for decades in food service and catering, so I like that idea better than liquid. This product can accommodate the gel cans. The instructions call for cans that are 3.4 inches (86 mm) wide and 3.9 inches (98 mm) tall. The fuel is not included so you will need to buy it separately. But they do include a gel can opener! One of the feet on mine was not attached to the bottom so it tips to one side. I cannot use this in this condition. But the instructions say to call their customer service if anything is missing or damaged. I haven’t done that yet so I can’t report on the performance of this lamp since I haven’t used it. I can say it looks nice. I like that it has a glass barrier—not all of them have that feature. Also, I like that it accepts gel cans as fuel. I am deducting one star because of the issue I encountered.

permission to light things on fire
that's what you give yourself if you buy this item. you should of course also have the appropriate precautions ready -- a fire-proof surface on which to light the mini firepit, possibly also a fire extinguisher. just in case. things i like about this mini fire pit versus the other mini fire pit i also just reviewed -- it has a fireproof wick, for longer burning time. it has a separate stainless steel bowl in which to add your flammable liquid (folks are saying isopropyl alcohol is superior to ethanol, with 70% or 91% being preferred). the outer housing includes a svelte glass flame guard, which is potentially breakable, being glass, but if treated right, should also be good for the long haul.unlike the concrete mini fire pit i also got, i imagine this will get a lot more use, and/or i'll cut a little of the wick and use it on the concrete mini fire pit. good to have options! if i were to choose between both, this would be my fave. hope this helps in your decision-making!
