We bought a Floor Cleaning Kit for hardwood floors and tiles from Rugdoctor direct (didn't find it on Amazon) to clean our tiles
Having four cats and after renting a rug doctor every few months we realised it's much cheaper to buy one of our own and have it available whenever it's needed. The quality is the same as for the rental machines. We bought a Floor Cleaning Kit for hardwood floors and tiles from Rugdoctor direct (didn't find it on Amazon) to clean our tiles we have through the whole ground floor and I'm even more amazed by how great it works. We have tiles in our kitchen and you know the grease that accumulates before the oven when you fry on the stove top. After two passes with the floor tool it's clean and sparkly. It's one of the best investments over the last months I've made. When you buy the floor tool call Rugdoctor instead of ordering it online in the shop, as there are according to the support 3 different floor tools and for the Mighty Pro X3 you will need an additional hose to connect it, as it can't be used with the upholstery hose that's included here.

Worth every penny
Probably the best investment ever, with kids and dogs, it has been a nightmare keeping carpets clean, laminate everywhere but not bedrooms, so having hired the red version of this and paid £20 to £30 a time we decided it was a good idea to buy our own. Just like the industrial one, works perfectly, having using a vax before this beats it by a million miles, pricey yes but definately worth it, its amazing the colours and dirt this takes off your carpets, well worth every penny

Potential Quality Assurance Issue.
Perhaps id be able to give a higher rating had i actually used the machine.. I eagerly ordered the X3 revision of the once very reliable line of commercial grade Rug Doctor machines, this was done without hesitation due to my personal experience with the machines for many years. Unfortunately upon first use of my machine, turing the power switch to the 'on' position caused an electrical trip in our building; thus rendering the machine useless.. not the best when initial pre-spray was already been applied. Upon contacting Rug Doctor directly the support operator 'Helen' was incredibly attentive and through showing care and attention;swiftly aimed to rectify the issue. To remove the Pre-Spray and as a temporary solution i was given a complimentary 48-HR rental voucher of which i received same day after a little perseverance. I applied for a replacement via Amazon which was painless enough; now i await a working unit, this review will be updated with performance stats soon.

Excellent Machine
Brilliant machine. For the last six years I've had various Vax Shampooers, all under the six year warranty, I must have had 10 replacement machines, so I would never recommend a Vax. However this is a great machine and cleans my carpets brilliantly, the only tiny downside is that it doesn't clean right up to the edge and won't go under low furniture. Apart from that I would highly recommend...

Really good machine.
I previously owned a Mighty Pro (not the X3 version) for a number of years and this machine is vastly superior. Besides aesthetically looking a lot better, in my opinion, is better made. It has three rows of brushes on a wider paddle as opposed to two rows on the other machines, a larger pair of wheels on rubber tyres (as opposed to smaller diameter moulded plastic ones and a slightly larger tank. The spacing on the paddle brushes on the X3 mean that it is far easier to clean (the mighty pro brushes are shorter in length and more compacted allowing them to 'clog' easily with pet hairs etc. and the end bristles have a tendancy to wear out quickly). The larger tank means more carpet can be cleaned between fill-ups and when emptying the waste tank, on this version the water pours easily and doesn't dribble down the side of the tank on the floor when emptying down the toilet. My only critisicm is that the power cord exits the machine close to the floor. It would have helped if a bracket held the cord higher up. Care has to be taken to hold the flex up and away from the wheels in use.

Brilliant machine
really drags the dirt out of the carpets - bit shameful really. I wouldn't say it was that easy to manoeuvre due to the powerful vacuum but that said it does the job exceptionally well! A full tank will only do half an average carpet so it can be a pain having to stop to refill, also, when the tank is removed and the machine is empty it can topple backwards due to it being top-heavy with no water in it or collection tank removed. Once you are ware of this it's not much of a problem. On the whole a brilliant machine which I have no doubt is the best cleaning machine on the market.

Decent machine, could use a little more R&D
It's a decent enough machine, and much more effective than the grey and yellow Kärcher one I've hired in the past. The vacuum seems ok if not amazing. Its more powerful than my Dyson, but still a bit less than I expected. Having since watched some YouTube videos, I'm kinda wishing I bought a Bissel machine instead. It does have a couple of design flaws (easily fixed, and yet haven't been)....- After cleaning, if you have remaining solution in the tank, you cannot empty it without taking it outside and discharging it all.You cannot ciphon it out either, as there is a mesh filter covering the water (to need to unscrew that, lift it up on a platform, then ciphon it out that way. There's no real excuse for this sort of lazy product design, just add a drainage tap).- The dirty water reservoir is poorly designed, since has a 4 inch lip around all sides. This makes pouring the dirty water away very clumsy since it just spills everywhere, and its hard to empty completely.- The brush on the hand tool has a tendency to detach itself from the tubing (permanently), leaving it unusableTo be fair, customer service were excellent, and sent me out a brand new hand tool a couple of days later. But this bit of the product really needs a rethink, as I'd only used it twice before it failed
