Working well in the fish tank

nice thermometer i brought it for the biorb bank i must say it gives accurate reading as there was nothink wrong with my other one i had inside the tank i just decided to get one for out side the tank and this thermometer gave the same reading. great price as i seen these in shop for triple the price so i got this at a bargain i would buy again delivery was also good.

Having purchased a few useless cheap thermometers for my new aquarium (none of which worked very well), I decided to research the alternatives and found this wonderful internal digital aquarium thermometer. The suction cups on the probe that is inserted into the water allows for it to be secured to the glass, although there have been a few occasions when it has come away from the glass and floated freely (although it still continues to give an accurate temperature reading). The digital display unit itself also has a suction cup, which I use to fasten to the side of the tank, which allows me to see the temperature quickly and be reassured of its accuracy. The unit itself can be turned off easily with the button on the top right hand corner; it only takes a fraction of a second for the internal probe (inside the tank) to display the temperature - and an easy switch allows you to read the temp in fahrenheit or celsius.I also use this little wonder to ensure the water being put into the tank during water changes is as close to the tank temperature as possible so that there's not too much of a shock for the fish. It's accessible, light and manouverable and I highly recommend it. I took a star off for the lack of complete suction on the interior probe, which can be changed using a cheap alternative that can be purchased on Amazon in their hundreds, so at some point I will replace the pad.

Very accurate to 1 degrees

Checked it against the original mercury thermometer and found it was just as accurate.

Seems quite accurate but both the plastic stickers inside and outside of the tank are rubbish. . The outside one didn't stick for more than 10 minutes from the off although the internal temperature probe one did stick for a few days before it "fell off" good and cheap but " ya gets what ya pays for " is ringing in my ears.

Gave reliable readings for over a year but it seems to lose its accuracy over time. Its now 6 degrees wrong so un unsuitable for aquarium monitoring imo.
