I bought these lights as a present for a neighbour with new patio decking, and installed them myself.This is a 6-month review, as they're an outdoor product so it's worth knowing how they'll survive.The UK had a very wet late spring and early summer this year, and these lights were outside in all of that. They are all still performing perfectly, and there is no sign of any water ingress.They were very easy to install on wooden decking; one tip from me is to buy and use some high-quality screws, (I used no.6 size pozidriv, as the heads of no.6 screws fit in the rear slots perfectly) which will make installation easier and quicker.Before installing, I dismantled one of the lights to see how it was constructed, and whether the battery could be changed in the future when the daily charge-discharge cycle has reduced its effectiveness.I'm pleased to say the lights have a silicone gasket to seal them from water ingress (which I replaced carefully!), and also that they take standard AA rechargeable batteries, so when the batteries do eventually need replacement, it will be easy to do.These lights are good looking and made from strong pressed steel. I mounted them on the uprights of steps on decking, and they have survived being stepped on and knocked off their mounting screws, as well as the English summer, with no sign of damage.I definitely recommend considering these if you are looking for some good quality outdoor solar lighting.Please consider leaving a helpful vote if my review has been useful!

These lights are superb. Stylish with a beautiful warm white beam which is actually quite powerful. The lights come on at dusk and stay on all night whilst remaining bright. I've used them on the top of my fence panels and was do impresssed I've ordered some more. They are easily mountable with just 2 screws and take minutes to fit. Do not hesitate to buy these lights, you won't be disappointed.

Not as bright as I’d like ( I’ve had brighter) but they light-up nicely. I like the fact that the battery is well packed and is only accessible by unscrewing the back- hopefully that signals that it’s well protected from rain. I’ll have to put it on the test.If u plan to hang them on your fences,I would recommend you use smaller nails than the ones provided, as they were a pain to screw in. Overall, they look better quality than my previous ones and hope it will last.

Arrived within a couple of days . Ordered 2 boxes. We have attached these to sleepers . The screws were not suitable to go into wood they snapped , so used panel pins which did the job. These are not too bright, but bright enough for me to see to the bottom of the garden. Really happy with them so far . I am planning on purchasing some more .

Unfortunately, as one or two other reviewers have mentioned, these won’t last very long. I bought a pack of 6 in July last year and they lasted about 6 months. This was nothing to do with lack of sunlight in the winter either - I left them in place through to this month (June 2021) thinking they may rekindle with the onset of longer daylight hours and more sun, but sadly not. Tried switching them off for a while and then back on to auto mode but they’re dead. Out of the box they’re great, illuminated straight away, and whilst they were working they did a good job of providing a bit of soft safety lighting for the steps onto our patio. I suppose, at the end of the day they work out to only just over £4 each so could replace them every time they expire. But do I really want to be doing that? It proves you get what you pay for, so I’ll now be looking for something more durable even if it’s more costly.

very nice looking and works really well.sadly, one of them has stopped working after 6 mont.would like to have it replaced please, but do not seem to be able to contact the seller.thank you

Seemed like a great product - looked discreet, gave off a nice warm light and came on exactly at the right time. Lasted well for 4 months, then all of them failed. Seemed to be a lot of water ingress in all of the fixtures.Don't buy if you want them to last longer than 4 months!

The media could not be loaded.    These are VERY impressive!I didn't realise there's also a rechargeable battery with each light.Good quality too unlike my last cheap set.I decided to put these on my fence as well as my driveway, well, not actually on the driveway but on the house which is beside the driveway. Check out the video! (The quality of the video maybe reduced due to Amazon compressing it.).These lights also last a good few hours. It helps that my back garden faces the sun all day.If you're after a nice modern style to your back garden, whether these lights are for your wall or fence, then i'd very highly recommend these!!TIP: Don't install them as soon as you get them. Leave them in the daylight for 6-8 hours to really charge up! Then you will see if there's any faulty lights before drilling them to your wall or/and fence.

Easy to install and offers good safety lights for stairways

Absolutely love these lights, I’ve been looking for something for a while that I could use without running power but also slim and modern looking that weren’t going to be cheap and flimsy junk. These are quite bright and last a fair while at night, even in partial shade they still charge well and admit Light. Hopefully these last a while but seem like good quality so far and very happy with them.

Product arrived on time. Smaller than expected, but my fault for not reading description before ordering. Brightness a bit disappointing, but looks effective. Super easy to install. Would recommend.

The lights were easy to install and look great. They illuminate the stairs very well. The price was right too! We may take them down in the winter however as a little concerned they may get damaged with snow shovelling. Overall, very happy with them!
