This lime squeezer is made of Heavy Duty Cast Aluminum; it has a yellow paint coat finish. Campeon lime squeezer is ideal for limes and can be used in kitchens or bars. Because it's made of cast aluminum it is light weight and easy to use.

Won't last long term
ORIGINAL REVIEW:I've been using this for a few weeks now and it works great. Considering I only paid $3.99 for it this was an excellent value. As some other reviewers mentioned, some very large lemons will not fit or have trouble fitting into the press. That's not necessarily the fault of the press though, and this company does make a larger press for larger lemons / oranges /etc. So far it has proven to be very sturdy, even with the largest lemon I could jam into it and it extracts the juice like a champ. I wish they had used another design to connect the two halves together instead of a ring, but that's a nitpick.UPDATE 5/23/2012:Ok, well after owning this for just under 5 months the handle broke while juicing a lemon. Oddly enough it's not made out of a solid piece of metal but some kind of composite material. I've uploaded a picture of the broken handle if anyone is curious. Unfortunately I had to take it down from 5 stars to 2 stars.

Great product with an irresistible price!
I have never written a review but I always read them and it definitely helps me to get to know a product much better! It is ALSO why I absolutely have to write a review for this squeezer since it does not have reviews!I bought this squeezer without anyone having reviewed it. I took a chance because it looks "size-specific"(i wanted one not just for small limes, but also not like for an orange), I saw that it's solid aluminum made(because I've seen people review on squeezers that break very easily), and this squeezer is only $3.99(I'm chea-, I mean, I'm a bargain-hunter..), so I took a chance on it. Let me tell you, it is EVERYTHING you need in a lemon/lime squeezer. This is not the case of "you get what you pay for", it is an incredible deal for something that's being sold $10 $15 with other brands, but absolutely fully functional, wonderfully sturdy, easy to clean, AND the color is so playful, looking at it makes me so happy using it!! If you are still questioning if this is the right one to get, YES, because you clicked on it, meaning you probably didn't absolutely hate the color and are interested in its quality for its intriguingly low price. Well, seriously, you- need- to- get it! You'll be so happy especially for it being just as good as those twice, three times the price.P.S. No I don't work for Amazon nor this company for the squeezer. I'm just a mojito maker.

Been fiending for one of these for awhile
I've watched a lot of Rick Bayless and Patti Jinich over the past year (no cable TV) and have noticed that they both use these squeezers religiously. Could not find the "mexican made" ones so came across this on amazon for $4 as well as the one that Cook's Illustrated recommended (AMCO). Couldn't find a noticeable difference b/w the two so I went with the cheaper one. I've used it quite frequently over the past 6 months and I find that it works really well for both lemons and limes and juice just gushes out of them (which is a revelation compared to the squeezing by hand technique). Every once in a while a seed escapes, but I'll live with that. It's a convenient and easy tool to squeeze half a lemon (or lime) into a glass of water for daily vitamin C. However, it just seems like its not aligned up correctly (a little loose or crooked)...I'm going to admit that I probably have a minor case of OCD, but it just a little annoying to think about. It still works fine though and for $4, if it does that, then it's a win...really wish I could get my hands on one of those ones that Jinich or Bayless uses though.

Fantastic for the money, more than I expected
This is perfect, it's exactly what anyone looking for a manual squeezer needs. I thought about paying more, there's plenty of options at 15+. But for under $10, this was unbeatable. It's more than I expected, it works, don't waste your money on the others.

Very Strudy Construction
I have been using it for 4 months now and its still going strong. I used a plastic squeezer earlier and that broke within couple of months. Its good for standard size limes. Few people might find its look little bulky but its very sturdy so I am fine with it.

Great for weaklings like me
Gets the juice out and is a pretty yellow shade. It looks great hanging on a hook in the kitchen. Easy to clean and easy to use.

Enamel wears out
I liked it that the price was too low, but when I received it I noticed this is similar to those other cheap products. The enamel wears out after a few uses, and it will look very ugly. Don't recommend it.
