Star Trek: Picard - Season Two [DVD]

Series One was okay however, series two .....Is this meant to be for 12 years and up. If you are 12 then you are exposed to the F...... word more than once and to cap it all, I stopped watching Picard when Seven and Raffi started kissing. What a load of rubbish. Why do you feel the need to add this sort of thing in? Completely ruined the humour of past Star Treks. Boring and going off in all sorts of tangents. Oh and Wesley Crusher comes back as well as Q. My my we are digging up the past to make more stupid story lines. I will certainly not be watching Picard anymore. Absolute garbage.

Absolute Rubbish, its woke to the point of being offensive to woke, but the story is just another “Q disrupts the timeline, so Picard has to go back in time, “ Oh not again you say.. but yes, they lose a communicator.. again, the Borg are there, again.. and some ridiculous interferrence blocks comms again..But what the heck.. half the crew are nicotine addicts, Picard needs an enthusiasm injection cos his character is a half awake insomniac, and the Borg queen is as ineffectual as an earthworm on valium.Overall, its very poor, no new story, it lacks imagination, and needs a rewrite.I have stopped watching it, its just too boring being a really bad re-hash of previous storylines.

I enjoyed the second season. I particularly liked the re-invention of the borg. Nice to see old faces. Particularly, Seven and Q. I always liked Data, so wish he could of been in future seasons.

I really enjoyed this.

I signed up to Prime Video just to watch this series (having seen series one and enjoyed it). For me it didn't quite have the same dynamics as series one and the story was slower paced with the twists too easy to spot. But as a Star Trek fan it's great they are making such programmes and it's way better than Discovery. Picard was too grumpy in this series and a bit more humour would echo the original series format.

it showed you that ginan not knowing Piccard, yet in star trek the next generation they met much earlier in the17th centery.

I enjoyed this from start to finish. Maybe I'm the right target audience, I cry out loud whenever I see a familiar face pop up (even seeing Rijos from the first series made me rejoice, I guess he's grown on me).Warning, some spoilers from here on ...I didn't want to compare this to any other series, just enjoyed Patrick Stewart being Picard, Seven struggling with her demons, Q playing cool in the face of whatever he's facing, another baddie Data, the cute faces from Season one and some more likeable characters. I really liked the Picard storyline, I think it fits his character well, or maybe because it was well acted throughout. To me the whole season had an action-packed, tight storyline, some nice, heartfelt moments and superb visuals (the Picard chateau, tell me about a dream home!). I hope the negative reviews don't deter anyone from watching Picard Season 2, make it so and don't be afraid to make up your own mind about it. Engage! 😊
