15.6 Inch Vintage Canvas Messenger Bag Laptop Shoulder Bag Satchel with Laptop Compartment for Men Women School Work (Brown)

I bought this bag with the intention of using it as my to-the-office satchel, something a little more focused and less grungy than a backpack. I also wanted it to double as my "game night" bag, so it had to accommodate a couple D&D hardback rulebooks and an iPad. It will in fact hold a couple books, plus iPad, plus small notebooks, and has a fair distribution of pockets to hold pens and other accessories, plus a convenient phone-sized pocket in the top flap. The material is sturdy enough; the strap comfortable enough. And yet I don't find myself using it as often as I expect. When considering why, I realized it comes down to the fact there's no handle on the top of the bag: it has to be worn or carried by the strap. Fine when it can be worn, but due to my height, I have the strap fully extended, and hand carrying it in and out of vehicles or down the hall means dangling it kind of awkwardly. This is a well-made bag, and I found the price fair; it just turns out it wasn't the bag for me.

I like the quality and the style. Looks exactly as pictured. A bit small, keep in mind you won't be able to get much in here beyond a laptop and maybe a notebook. Strap is also not too comfortable, when I put all my stuff in it it hurts my shoulder a bit. Definitely wouldn't walk around all day with it. Overall it suits my needs well enough and I'm satisfied. Especially for the price, I couldn't ask for much more.

Smart and casual. The wide strap is really comfortable and easy to adjust even while wearing. I hate purses in general just because it's something else to take care of. I actually love this because I don't have to baby it and I always have too much stuff to carry around. I wear it to work (airport c/s) and I wear it to Home Depot with equal confidence.

Ok, I liked the bag style and it was a great size but the leather pieces connecting strap to the bag broke within 2 weeks of using it. All I carried in it was a laptop, thin notebook and two thin folders, nothing heavy. I was lucky I had my computer in a padded case. I was very disappointed because I loved the bag.

I use it as a wandering teacher. I carry a laptop, 3-ring binder, plus the books needed for the classes I support. I love the big pockets in the front. I like that it pads my laptop. It looks nice as well as being very stylish. It gets used a lot as held up very well so far.

Good bag, good amount of room for all the extras. zip pouches on the front and back for the little things like phones, mouse, etc. Wishing it had a handle, but a good bad overall. Will check the durability over the coming months.

A pretty good all-around bag; been using for about a year now with no issue. One note though; the foam in the laptop sleeve section isn't sewn in place, so it can get bunched up if you're not careful. Also, there is a zipper pull on the inside pocket that can rub against the laptop if you put it in the wrong section. Not terrible, just not the best design. Great value for the price.

My son uses this every day. It is a perfect size, I have used the backpack one for 5 years now, it is never too much to Cary, and just keeps on absorbing everything i put in it, yet with the pouches its easy to find stuff.
