I began wearing flat caps back in the mid-60's. For a couple reasons. First, I drove British roadsters. Austin Heelys and MGs, mostly. Second, a flat cap identifies the wearer as a member of the working class. Those of us who sweat for a living. This particular cap cis well-constructed and comes closest to the old-school design. Flat panels on the sides and buckles for adjustment. I have a yuge collection of these is various patterns and colors but misplaced my black number. This one is a winner. I'll buy a couple more.

Nice hat

Its was hard to find hats for my dad an this one was perfect. Did have to.pull the fitters on side to get a.small size to.fit his.head. but he loves it .

Especially for the price, this is a nice hat that looks and feels well-made. The fit is surprisingly good despite being one-size-fit-most, and it is sufficiently elastic that it adapts easily.The problem is that it is styled for someone who either is bald or has close-cropped hair, and because of that it is not so attractive on someone whose hair sticks out widely to the sides of the head. This is just a matter of opinion, and certainly the hat is perfectly functional for anyone.

This is a quality hat fits well and lays right on your head

It seems that this hat is not really that deep. It feels like it is nearly just sitting on my head rather than my head fitting inside of it a bit.

Very light fabric. Cap does not retain its shape. Adjustable strap has no room.
