I read an article on air fryers and bought this one because of the good reviews, lower price point and smaller footprint than the more well known Phillips. Didn't know where to start but found lots of recipes online. I've been using it a lot in the past few months and have been very happy with the results. Yes, it does great on pre-packaged fries and tater tots but so much more. Roasted veges are browned and tender when coated with a little olive oil. Tonite I cooked a whole chicken and it came out crispy and juicy. Can't be more than 4 lbs or it won't fit. This morning scrambled eggs in a ramekin and even toasted the bread. It's very versatile. Filet of fish is delicious. I think the temperature has to be increased by 10 or 20 degrees from the recipes that are for the Phillips. Easy to clean and keeps messiness to a minimum. We travel in an RV and have used it many nites instead of turning on the oven and heating up the whole unit. Meals made were for two people. Don't think it's suitable for a large family unless food is cooked in batches. A really nice utensil. Update June 2018: I still use this air fryer frequently. Am disappointed that the nonstick finish is flaking off. I have never used anything abrasive on it. Update Jan 2019: unit died. Disappointing that it lasted only 1 1/2 years.

I am not impressed with the interior how it's made with screws and nuts at the bottom. To lift the basket out, this doesn't slide out easily with the button release feature. The screws will leak over time. For the price, I was expecting high quality engineering. I am sending this back.

I ordered 2day shipping but i didnt get it for almost 7days but honestly it was worth it. i really love this product and am not going to lie i was really skeptical that food and everything tasted similar and had the crunchy taste that i loved but honestly i was wrong. i can taste no real difference at all and it even drains the fat off. 100% recommended to try it out specially if your like me and loves to fry that way you still enjoy the same foods but its way healthier.

Received this and it had been used before by someone so was greasy and had food remnants. Definitely won't be buying again!

Very easy to use! Still learning, so far better than expected!

I've had this for a year (I looked to make sure) and it hasn't worn particularly well. The results are pretty good for the most part but I cook everything on 400 degrees to make that happen.Misses the mark:1. The non-stick basket coating has worn off and many products stick to it now. I wasn't rough on it but the coating is pretty much gone2. As mentioned, I have to put the temperature at the highest level to get the results I want3. The digital controls are a bit cumbersome to use4. The basket/holder apparatus still technically works but screws are rattling around inside and a couple of pieces fell off (that aren't integral to the machine working).5. The capacity seems really small - enough to put a few pieces of a single "thing" in for two people but not big enough to do much more.I really liked this when I first got it but it isn't wearing well and I"m shopping for a larger, better-constructed replacement

pay attention to the return information before buying this item, i paid $149 and i will only get $79.00 back if i choose to return it? like seriously....so even if i open it up on christmas and it is defective i will only get back half of what i paid for it. B#%@$hit - lesson learned.

Everything smells and tastes like plastic! I ran this machine every night for an hour to see if it would start to disapate and it never did at all. This is bieing returned.
