you put the sunshield on outside of the window for best results. I have been using one for the past 3 plus years off and on, and it works great. the material is not all that tough but it survived some good winds and stayed put.putting in on the outside of the windshield keep the heat out of the interior a lot better that on the inside.. why?? when the sun contacts the glass it heats up. the heat comes in the interior. the shield just protects the dash and other objects from getting hot as well.. on the outside of the window the sun does not heat up the glass in the first place so the interior temp stays cooler,, especially if you have the "vent shades" on the window to allow them to be cracked, 2-3" or so to allow the heat to escape the interior.. (that alone will keep the interior cooler with or without the shield in place..) the combo of both is the best..I have not had mine messed with at anytime in a parking lot..Too bad they are out of stock with no return date from amazon.. they are the best for sure.. could they be better YES.. a bit wider adn taller for large truck windshields adn stronger material would be the deal.

This would work fine...if it fit. If you own a Toyota Sienna like we do, or any other minivan with a large windshield, don’t waste your time with this product. We searched for a sun shade of the right dimensions and all we could find that came close was this product. Every time you go to put it in place, it slides around. One side will fall off the sun visor because it’s simply too small for large windshields. If it fit correctly, the spring frame around the circular sections would be snug to the top and bottom of the windshield, not this product. As a sun shade, the material is good: it does the job. Really wish it fit. But don’t do what we did and hope that it will work because it doesn’t...and I’m irritated every time I have to use it.

They cling and block the sun. They also store away easily when you don’t need them. Perhaps too well as I can’t see past them when applied to the windows. In the photos, it looks like you can see through them better than you can. Now if you only want them to block the sun entirely, these will help. The cling side does collect dust, sand, and other small debri rather easily, so keep this one on your window after you clean the windows. That will help keep these guys clean and will prolong your clinging potential. Otherwise, they get dirty and don’t stick as well any longer. They also weren’t the easy solution I was looking for. It’s kind of a pain to take these off, store them somewhere in the car, and then install them almost every day. They are good for commuting or road trips though. My daughter requested them daily during our last road trip. As long as you don’t mind barely being able to see through them.

So far so good. We will see about longevity. Tired of the the flaky aluminum padded ones. They would always bend in the middle and were difficult to install in large vehicles. These are super easy to install/mount. I used the expensive accordion-type which were very convenient. The problem with those are the mounting pieces which adhere to the windshield. One by one all seven we purchased came off. You would think that the manufacturer would be aware of this problem and include a couple of these pieces in each box, but that would be too logical. Idiots! We have not bought any of those in years. Very happy with the Antoers. If only they had the size for the full size trucks.....

100% what I was looking for. I drive a 2005 Ford Mustang. I actually use the shade on the inside and it fits perfectly. The temperature inside my car is wayyyyy cooler now. Antoer customer service has contacted me to maker sure I am satisfied and offered assistance with the shade if I ever need it.

The size is perfect for my kia soul. I wish it had securing flaps at both the top and bottom of the shade instead of the middle. I would also be great if the company had a rear window solution.Having said that we had frost this week. The other cars in our drive were covered. I did a happy dance when I removed the shade and drove off without issue.

Does not fit well if placed inside. I tried a few different ways to lay it in my car against visor, flat to the windshield, etc. none of the reviews say it is only good for the outside. I wanted it placed inside my car and saw pictures of other people doing that. None of the reviews, however, show step by step how to place it inside the car. No instructions were sent with product. It appears durable so I gave 2 stars but not useful for me.

Folding and storing this is literally a pain. I tried folding it and stored it in the pouch and it was kept in the rear seat. It pops out all of a sudden and it covered my entire rear view causing difficulty in driving and also which is unsafe- "Made of 190T Nylon waterproof and high temperature resistant material with silver reflective cover" - Actually it is made of a flimsy material which can easily be torn and doesn't help in blocking heat. And in the bottom of the page, they have listed that it can be used as Temporary yoga mat, Portable picnic blanket, Convenient pet mat, Handy infant cushion etc. I could not stop laughing on how they fool the customers with this description. The material is so cheap and pathetic that you can not use it for the above listed activities at all!Things to know before buying:- Very cheaply made material which might pose risk while driving and also doesn't help in keep the car cool inside.Will never recommend this to anyone.

Works as advertised. I have a 2016 Honda Civic and this one JUST fits perfectly. Shipping was really fast. What I like about this is it's super light and easy to unfold. I don't use the case. Just fold it (which can be a bit tricky) and shove it between the seats. For me it's much handier than those folding cardboard y ones. Just a guess but because it's a silver cloth material it may not reflect quite as much heat as the ones that have an aluminum foil type surface

This product has helped me keep my vehicles cool and bearable on those hot summer days after baking in the hot sun. I had a previous sun shade with a rounded square shape which I found fit a bit better than the this one but that is my only issue. Overall this is a great product and I cannot wait to use it during the winter

Fits my Subaru Forester 2017 pretty well, but isn't as effective at keeping heat out as a bubble-cell foil based sun shade.

My friend bought another one at Costco but it doesn't stay on the window. This one can do it with the frames holding it well and no need to find hooks as my friend did. and it is easy to fold away and hide by the side of my chair
