Double Barrel Surf Wax - Cool Water - 6 Pack

Best bang for your buck wax I've used. Seems to apply a little easier than the other brands so I feel like I use a bit less as well.

In comparison to Sticky Bumps - at high temperature it melts and becomes as a gum and at normal and lower temperature it's so stiff and hard...

Love this stuff! I'm a recent convert from sticky bumps, and it has at least the same tackiness, as well as a far better smell! I'll be surfing this stuff for a while, thanks double barrel!

It's wax so it's better than nothing. Goes on too slick and smooth and doesn't bead up well. No good bumps.

All what I needed and nothing less than that!

I recently purchased the cool version of this surf wax. I have not been surfing long, but before getting this 6 pack of wax,I have used Mr. Zoggs sex wax and Sticky bumps, and had no real preference between the two. I received the double barrel wax and used it on my board, I am less than thrilled. It is really streaky compared to either of the ones I've used previously. I don't know exactly what change that makes, and it may not make a difference for a beginner like me, but after reading up on waxing my board, streaks are not what I want to achieve. I will probably stick with Mr. Zoggs. I am editing my previous review, because they have great customer service. After writing my review they refunded my money. I did not request a refund, but my review led the company to feel they owed me one I guess. I have to say that speaks volumes and I wish this company the best.

I am no expert, but I used this wax on my skimboard, and it is decent wax. It does its job. In comparison to Sticky Bumps, Sticky Bumps has greater traction but double barrel is a close second and, I love the smell. It smells amazing!

Havin been a surfer for many years I have mostly used one surf wax..... Sex Wax. I have now switched since using double barrel. The wax is easy to use, apply to your board and stays on. I have also used the base coat in warm waters while on vacation. Dont stick with one brand. Give Double Barrel a try, you'll like it.
