Tiny
They are much smaller then I expected, especially for the price point. They are cute and well detailed but they will easily get lost to never be found again with how tiny they are.

Excellent Value for the Money
These horses are an excellent value for the cost. The product description on Amazon is accurate and genuinely reflects this product. Eighteen very different horses make up this collection. These are not just differently painted single pose horses, but eighteen very different, very realistically positioned, textured, and painted horses. Different breeds and levels of maturity (from foals to mature, older horses) are readily discernable. The poses and musculature of the horses are realistic, engaging, and creative. In other words, this is not the usual boring collection of plastic figures one usually sees. Although overall, the painting is acceptable there are some issues with the eyes, especially in the lighter-colored horses, where it is most apparent. For the purist, this corrects quickly with a bit of plastic-friendly paint remover, model paint, and a micro brush. These are accurate enough for dioramas at museums, public displays, model train buffs, and model builders. Unfortunately, at 1.25 inches tall at the shoulder, they are too big for HO scale and quite a bit too small for O scale. They are close to 1/32 scale, which many modelers use. In model railroad terms, this would be 1 Scale, which is somewhat unusual in the United States. Most importantly, these horses quickly won the hearts of my eight-year-old Grandson and six-year-old Granddaughter. These would make good presents for children ages six up to Grandfather age. Children ages 4 to 6 should probably be supervised since the horses are small enough to pose some choking risk. Smaller children might be able to eventually chew off pieces of the legs and accidentally swallow them or choke on them. These horses are great for playing with, as cake toppers, party decorations, and trinkets. On the more serious side, they are excellent for almost anything in 1/32 scale, including dioramas and train sets. On the active side, they are small enough to make challenging soft pellet gun targets, are knocked over readily by the small soft pellets, and are durable enough to take the abuse.

Super cute little horses
I got these for my 7 year old daughter who just got back from a trip to Montana. She rode horses, played with chickens and farm animals and has been loving everything about horses ever since. She has been playing with these since they arrived. She groups them into little families and has hours of fun with them. Great size, perfect for pretend play. I didn't realize how much she would like them but they are a hit. Would recommend.

great for kids
To my surprise, these mini horses have been a hit. My daughters like them a lot. This set of 18 mini horses thrilled them! The horses are realistic looking (within the context of being cheap toys), with great attention to detail (again, these are cheap). They love that they come in different colors and poses, they can stack and hide them, and stuff them in their pockets. Not just for horse people.

Hours of play
I was looking for multi play toys, something that they could play with and imagine with for hours and not get bored. I got this along with a stable to fences and it has done just that. Ages of my girls are 11,9,and 6 and they will sit on the floor and play for hours- without fighting! Win win. Only issue is one of the tails snapped on a horse almost right away.
