Small package, big delivery punch!
So these were amazing, i took them home with me to a tropical destination ...you know the mosquitoes are relentless there but guess what! They did not bother me at all. I let these around 8 pm and they lasted almost all thru the night...not advisable to go to sleep with it lit for safety reasons. But I will light them 2 hours before bedtime, close the room that I was going to sleep in let it burn and then blow it out when i go to sleep. It works and it smells amazing....I will get some for my home...just because!.

Love them! My skin is so thankful
They work!My bathroom is where mosquitos like to hang out. The days before these candles arrived, I saw at least one mosquito every day. I have not seen another! It has been twelve days! Every few days I light a candle. They burn for quite a while! Sometimes I will burn a candle over two days. They’re not really scented. They smell like medicinal herbs maybe? It’s hard to describe, but it isn’t offensive. In fact I kind of like it!I was going to try the incense next. Incense smells stronger and smoke is clingy, so I am wondering if it is more effective. However, since I STILL haven’t seen even one mosquito in there, instead of incense I’m just going to buy these again. They’re ADORABLE, and don’t take up much counter space. They’re cute and they work. I like that they don’t have a strong fragrance. If you have many mosquitos you are trying to repel, and not in a small space like a bathroom, I imagine they wouldn’t work very well and you should try the incense. We can’t very well slather repellant on ourselves 24-7 can we!

They're okay
They're nice to put around outside and seem to keep bugs away. I just wish the smell was stronger.

Some wicks are not centered
Same situation as another reviewer that wick leaned too close to plastic holder, burned the plastic into the glass votive holder. Had to pry it off the glass votive when cooled. I placed another in a fairly thick frosted glass votive holder. Didn’t realize till too late that again wick leaned too close to the holder and cracked the glass in 3 places. Too bad because it was a set with an outer metal holder and won’t find an exact replacement. I think the scent is effective to repel mosquitoes. Now I just place the tea lights in a terra cotta plant saucer. I’ve used various tea light brands for years. Never had this problem.

Works well
I bought this and a cheaper brand, both are great, but this one is seems more potent. Funny, it says on the box:"Discontinue use when 1 inch of wax remains"Um... these are tea lights, not even an inch of wax to begin with... so never use? Ha!It does the job though, like the other brand i got, you can actually witness the spiders flee after just a few minutes after lighting it, which is what i needed to prepare to clean the basement (i know, i know, out door use only). Note, also seems to keep the wasps away, so bonus.
