The product does its job but make sure to flush at least 5 times and I would highly recommend pulling the thermostat to allow coolant to not only circulate fully but in order to be able to drain everything out. Without doing this I would not recommend this product. You simply will not be able to get it all out. I've attached a picture of what I was seeing after the 4th flush.

I've been having overheating problems for the past month and am trying to do all I can do on my own before shelling out God knows how much $$$$ for various diagnostic opinions. I was unable to loosen the engine block drain plugs to see if crud in the block was causing the problem so I purchased this Gunk Super Flush Cleaner. Yes, some additional rust & crud came out but I'm still overheating. I'm going to give it one more try with a breaker bar to remove the block drain plugs - if not, radiator shop here I come. Ouch!!!!YES - New Radiator, Cap, Thermostat, Hoses, Water Pump, Several Flushes, New Coolant, Air Bleed System, and now this Gunk flush - I'm stumped. Oil looks good and not losing coolant so I'm hoping not Head Gasket.

I'm glad I used this. Got some loose stuff off the inside of the hoses. Once the flush was complete, I drained out the cleaner and collected all the fluid. Then I ran hose water through the system and collected all that fluid. Then I poured enough distilled fluid into the system to flush again. Then I filled with radiator and distilled water.

This radiator cleaner is probably the closest one can find to the excellent but expensive Mercedes-Benz radiator citrus-based flush, based on a review of the chemical ingredients listed for this product (MSDS) at time of original purchase. It works. I recommend use every two years with yearly coolant changes.

this stuff is SUPER CONCENTRATED it Seems, i only put a splash (less than an ounce) in my radiator and within 5 second of filling it up SUDS GALORE, Its a very good product that is worth the price

Can't go wrong in using this stuff to clean your motor. I have several old motors with over 100,000 miles and this will help rid of some motor gunk.

Did nothing to clean radiator, I used dollar general drain opener & that got the job done.
