Compact and practical
Seems to do the job: wanted a small umbrella for putting in my purse. Just FYI: outside (rain side) is black. Pattern is on inside.

An Umbrella Worth Buying
I was tired of cheap umbrellas that turn inside out in the wind, bend & break! I was impressed by the reviews of this umbrella and decided to order it. After all Amazon has a money back guarantee. I was not disappointed by these reviews at all and liked the umbrella so well, I ordered a second one to keep in my flight carryon. I showed it to my friend and she ordered one also. Since I live in AZ, it will get used to shade me from the sun and protect me from the rain. Try it, You won't be disappointed!

Hard to open but slides to easily if upside down
It's hard to open but if you need to hold it upside down it will slide a bit instead of staying compact. Still a nice umbrella but not sure it's nice enough to justify the price with the problems I mentioned.

Good umbrella
Works great to hide from sun and rain ! The design is beautiful

Broke first and second uses
The first time I used this, the fabric loop broke off. The second time I used it, the plastic handle broke off. Each time was under light drizzle conditions, no wind. I threw it away.
