The tool that I've only heard one long bearded person talk about.
Since the first time I grew a beard for a year, I've only heard about beard combs and boar's hair brushes. Those work fine, but once your beard gets to a certain length, they tend to flatten out your beard. In some cases, they even push the hair (below jaw line) inward toward the neck. These picks will detangle your beard hair just like beard combs and brushes. However, if you keep the pick horizontal (with the pick end barely touching your skin) and gently glide it straight down (while keeping horizontal), your beard will look full and will hang more naturally downward (depending on how curly your beard is). I am very happy with these.
