NIUBIER 8-in-one Portable Electric Soldering Iron
I normally don't write reviews, but I liked this iron so much that I thought if anyone was a little hesitant in ordering this might help. This soldering pencil is very good for the money. I've used all types of soldering guns, irons and pencil's.This unit is very good for electronics and I have even used it to solder a stranded #12 THHN wire to a round terminal. The only thing that I do before I plug any soldering iron in is to put a little Anti-Seize on the threads where the tip holder screws to the iron that way you can always remove the tip holder because after many uses of heating up and cooling down it is very hard to remove the holder with out damaging the iron. You can get Anti-Seize at an automotive parts store, it what you would use to put on the threads of spark plugs before you install them. Also about setting the temperature control, I set mine just a little past the 300 mark remember this is in Celsius. I don't know why you would need to go any higher. Also I thought the Tweezers were halfway decent and the extra tips were great.

Worked perfect for building first drone
Exactly what I was looking for when building my drone and not wanting to spend more money that I had already spent on drone parts. Came with extra tips and a soldering sucker which I was happy to have and remembered using In electronics school. The temp worked perfectly for what I needed and will continue to use for future projects. I did however mess up a soldering temp that was probably due to some old solder I used or not continually to clean the tip after every contact soldered. This could be the quality of the tip and am not sure because I am not expert not have other tip to compare. Thankful for the extra tips.

Works great for most hobby stuff
Yea can't find anything to really complain about given the price point. Works great for most hobby stuff. The adjustable iron works well, can be adjusted low enough to work on flex boards and the different tips are great for varying needs. The wire tweezers it comes with are a huge help if u don't already own a pair like that. I really like the set.

Careful!
We thought we would save money and try to fix our broken screen. Mistake! We broke the display underneath and my phone became an expensive paper weight. Let the professionals fix it.
