Foktech 6438150 Bluetooth 4.0 USB Dongle Adapter, Broadcom BCM20702 Chipset

Adds bluetooth to a computer that otherwise didn't have it. Was able to pair a tablet and a bluetooth mouse and had no problems.Edit: However, the next day when I turned the computer on, there was no bluetooth. I checked device manager and it said that windows stopped the device because it reported problems. I pulled it out of the usb slot and put it back in, then bluetooth was back. Same thing the day after.EDIT:To Foktech; thanks for the comment. What you suggested worked perfectly. Now there's no problems at all.

This little device is a wonderful bluetooth to have, it can connect to my other devices even at distance some 70ft away, impressive know bluetooth only goes about some 30ft. crystal clear music streaming and file transfer is a breeze. I use it to do a veriaty of networking so I can say this maybe a winner for you, especially if you want to setup your own home in-expensive media streamer. This is a good device for its little size.

I purchased this adapter to use with a AYL Bluetooth Headphones V4.1 Wireless Sport Stereo In-Ear Noise Cancelling Sweatproof Headset and my laptop computer which has Windows 10 on it. The adapter comes with a CD of drivers and I installed the ones for Windows 10. Initially I was unable to get the laptop to recognize the headset and got the Blue Screen Of Death numerous times. Finally, I found info that Windows 10 comes with bluetooth drivers. I uninstalled the drivers I had just installed, rebooted and my headset connected up immediately.Works like a charm now. Wireless headset is great with the laptop.

This Bluetooth dongle has got some really cool feature that I love to use every day such as proximity, text messaging, and using the PC audio when the phone is near my desk. The Price is so low that it might make you think this is a Cheap product, but you would be very wrong. I would just recommend installing the software first for windows users as "Windows 10" user might get another driver installed by default as I did on my second device. This product is one of the upgrades that you will not regret doing to your windows based computers.

I bought this for use on my computer at work. It allowed me to hook up an Apple bluetooth keyboard and the Uhuru rechargable bluetooth mouse. At first, every time I restarted my computer I had to re-pair the devices. Now all I end up having to do is turn the mouse off and then on; keyboard works just fine. The dongle lights up each time a device breathes on something, probably to let you know it's transmitting.

I am using Win10 which everyone knows is sketchy. Whenever I connected a device I would get a blue screen error irql not equal or less than... To fix this I went into the device manager and had the Broadcom bluetooth device search for an updated driver. It updated the driver and I haven't noticed the error since but that is with limited testing. I only knocked off a star because this adapter works great aside from the blue screen issue.

Great price AND great item!*** this was my previous post here --->though it works, every time I turn my computer on I have to re-install the driver to connect to my bluetooth devices and restart my computer. This is very annoying. I supose for the price it's what I should expect but I would much rather pay a little more and have it work every time without the hassle of reinstalling and then restarting my computer.

Wouldn't recommend getting this. Computer recognized it once and then it just wouldn't show up anymore. Definitely not good for the stratus xl if that's what you want to get it for. Go with the Asus, worked like a charm.
