Great foot brace
This foot brace is wonderful, it doesn't slip off the heel at all and is very comfortable to wear.I thought at first that the bottom would irritate me once I put my shoes on, but that was not the case at all. I did have a small problem and that is with the size. Due to swelling on my left foot the brace felt tighter than what it should have, I think anyone looking to purchase these should do so with confidence but go up a size. I purchased the small size, based on my shoe size of 7 and a 1/2 , and feel I should have gone the next size up which is medium. I am in fact going to purchase another pair in medium for extra comfort as I am on my feet most of the day and do suffer from plantar faciitis and a swollen achilles heel on one foot. I have given these ones to my daughter who has smaller feet, and she is going to try them out for the next few days. I will update this review at the end of the week once she has really given them a workout.UPDATE: Daughter is very impressed with the braces, they fit her perfectly and have helped her tremendously throughout the day at her work where she is on her feet a lot. She said they are very comfortable, they do not show up through her stockings and she hardly knows she is wearing them. I am about to order the mediums, can't wait to get them .UPDATE 11/6Got my mediums, and am very pleased with them. They fit me a lot better than the small, and feel more comfortable for my feet. I recommend these to anyone wanting some relief for foot problems such as plantar, heel spurs and achilles tendon issues. I'm using them at home after work where I do spend a lot of time on my feet.

Best heel spur relief I've found
I wear a shoe size of 8B and am quite large in girth. My doctor told me I had two heel spurs which were caused by Plantar Fasciitis. I have a low arch, so for many years I didn't wear arch supports. I am now paying the price for that. I didn't use orthotics because they forced me to walk on the outside of my foot - which I have now learned is called suppination. I have found a great orthotic but because of the high price I only have three pairs that I rotate in my much smaller collection of shoes - which is great when I am going out or have something to do. But I hate wearing shoes at home. So I wear these when I want to go barefoot. I have been wearing them for quite a while. When I first got them, it felt good on my heel and arch, but I couldn't wear them all day; just for a few hours. After a month I was able to wear them all day long and they work wonderfully! It squeezes the heel and supports the arch perfectly. The pain is completely gone. The best thing about these is you can wear them under socks and slippers. I have even taken a shower in them. They have not lost their elasticity. Do your feet a favor and get these. I recommend these to everyone.

Helped my plantar fasciitis
I suffered with severe pain from plantar fasciitis for over 4 months. Within 24 hours of wearing this brace, my foot was significantly better. I wore it all day and took it off at night. I was able to walk without pain the next day - even first thing in the morning. I have now been alternating this brace with a plantar fasciitis sleeve throughout the day. My foot is still tired at the end of the day but less than before. The only issue I have with this brace is that I was unable to wear it with sneakers (and it's probably worse with other shoes). When barefoot or with socks, I didn't feel the brace. With sneakers on, I could feel it bunched up on the bottom of my foot. So now I use the sleeve with shoes and use the brace when home without shoes.I am a size 8 narrow shoe and ordered the Small for sizes 6-8. I definitely think it would have slipped off my heel if I had ordered a size up.As it was, it slipped off a few times but not as much as I expected.

Saved my feet!
I have been wearing these for nearly 6 months after an achilles tendon injury. I work on my feet on cement surfaces daily and these have saved my quality of life! After a few days the discomfort subsided - would recommend working up to longer periods of wearing them. I am ordering a new pair as these have become stretched out and not as supportive anymore. Had tried a variety of socks, supports, etc but these are the best for me - no added bulk to my shoes, not hard to get over my foot like some of the supports and are easy to wear under my regular socks. So glad I found them!

Hit or miss
This product seems to really be a, "hit or miss." Either it works wonderfully for you and works beautifully, or you've just wasted $30. In my case, I wasted $30. No matter what I did, the back would not stay on. It fell off my heel even with shoes and socks on as I was walking down the street. It feel off as I was simply sitting at my desk. It fell off as I relaxed in bed. I purchased the smallest size and it still felt too big - I wear a very common 7.5 (38) and it simply did not do what it promised. It did not compress where it should and it did not stay on. I'm a bit disappointed actually because it had high hopes for it. It offered no relief, no support, no difference.

Not a bad buy and it does help ease my foot pains
I have used these braces for a handful of months and I did find them helpful. The sizing might be off as I bought the size the chart said I should use, but the heel strap pulls brace to the back of my foot and it will not stay on. After a month or two I cut the heel strap off. Its a step down from taping, yet beats the expense of tape. Not a bad buy and it does help ease my foot pains.

Cured my daughter's Severs disease
This is an absolutely amazing product! My daughter is a high-level competitive gymnast and she was suffering from Severs disease in one ankle. The pain was so extreme we took her to an orthopedist to see if she had a fracture. After finding out that it was probably Severs, I searched the internet and found the X Brace. I was optimistic since the designer was inspired to make this after working with gymnasts. My daughter's pain began to subside after wearing the brace for a few days, and was completely gone after a week or two. She still wears the brace frequently (we're on our 2nd pair now), and she loves that the pain is gone and that the brace does not interfere with her performance at all.
